Location, staff, cleanliness, roof top bar great. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor and the noise of the street was really loud which let us woken up early in the morning. Rooms to the back are more recommendable.

Die Unterkunft war extrem sauber, das Buffet war zwar klein aber mit allem ausgestattet. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hatte, war der Bezug der Daunendecke. Ansonsten war alles super.

Top ist die Lage und das Frühstück. Leider direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße (Lärm ins Zimmer) Blick auf Temple of Zeus nicht möglich da ein Baum direkt beim Balkon die Sicht verdeckt (Superoir Zimmer) Hotel wirkt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Tolles Stadthotel
Das Hotel liegt ein paar Minuten Fußweg von der Akropolis und der U-Bahnstation entfernt. Die Zimmer mit der Tempel of Zeus Aussicht liegen an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Wer es lieber ruhig mag, sollte auf die Aussicht verzichten. Frühstück war wunderbar & das Personal freundlich. Ich würde wieder dort übernachten.

We stayed here for two nights in March of 24. The check in was easy and the room was very nice. The room was clean and modern and had space to unpack your clothes. We had a great view of Hadrian’s Arch from our window. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the south entrance of the Acropolis. Eerything is an easy walk from the hotel.

What a fabulous hotel! It is so central, close to all the tourist sites and transport. The staff are wonderful. The room and bathroom were spotless, modern and spacious. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant is amazing! I would certainly stay there again!

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel as everything is perfect - the best run hotel I've ever stayed. To save my searching time I searched only for an Expedia VIP property near the attractions and quickly found/booked this hotel months before our trip, and immediately liked it when we walked in about the people and things there. Best for us: its location, conditions, friendly staff and food etc. We dined at its rooftop restaurant the night before our flight home, and enjoyed every moment of the fine-dining there! Oh the bottle of red wine greeting us in the room with the manager' handwriting card - thanks - was nice!

Athens Gate is excellent. It’s super convenient to two metro lines, and walkable to archaeological sites and museums. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is very clean and well-kept, the restaurant breakfast buffet is extensive (though not varied), and the rooftop bar views are spectacular.

The staff is very friendly and helpful , very well located , walking distance to main attractions , breakfast is amazing , I would definitely recommend stay again next time I'm in Athens

Tone set at check-in when given wrong room. When asked to correct the clerk asked for proof. Provided proof & clerk blamed Expedia for misrepresenting. Switced to room without working A/C first 3 1/2 days of trip. No reduction in charges from management… just a note for two free drinks at their restaurant. Overpriced hotel for what you get.

This property is very well placed in Athens and is very close to the Acropolis and areas that tourists would want to see. Their breakfast was excellent and the service during breakfast and check-in and check-out and arranging for airport transfer were excellent and easy. We would happily stay here again.
