"Luxus" Hotelin Bissau
Die Toiletten haben nach Urin geprochen. Klobrille ist gefallen. Keine Durschvorhang/trennwand dann war alles nass und uberflutet. Kartenlesegeraetdid funktonierte nicht. Wir mussten um 20:30 auf die Strasse ein Geldautomatsuchen, Geld abheben und Bar bezahlen. Zimmer verschimmelt und feucht. Etc. Etc.

The place is nice, nothing funcy but clean, and the people working there are quite flexible and helpful on things like lending you the iron for free, adapting the food to include vegetarians dishes (not easy in this part of the world), etc.

Hotel com óptimas condições para a cidade. Deram-me uma suite superior a minha reserva, muito simpáticos. Piscina espetacular. Com um ambiente calmo e silencioso para a azafama de bissau. Recomendo!!!!

Super friendly staff
The room was basic but nice — I liked the baobab oil body wash! The best part of my stay was the super friendly, accommodating staff. Special shout out to Mustafa and Teteu!

They need to improved their system. I spent a time to prove my stay was fully paid because nothing was showing up in their system. But the attendants were very kind. No complains.

Giardino lussureggiante e ben tenuto
Malgrado le camere non siano proprio il massimo in termini di comfort, l'albergo resta un buon riferimento a Bissau. Non lontano dal centro citta', e' molto tranquillo e dotato di tutti i servizi. La colazione e' ottima e il personale e' gentile e preparato.

Comfortable enough
The hotel was okay, and the staff quite pleasant. However, the door to the room and the living room have windows that people walking by can see right into. The bedroom is a bit more private. The hotel is in what appears to be a residential area, and so there is no walkabouts from the hotel. Still, it is one of the nicer hotels in Bissau and I will stay there on my next visit.

Em resumo: Tinha reservado esse hotel para 3 noites, porém quando entrei no quarto, resolvi sair e ir para outro hotel. Não sou muito exigente, mas esse hotel é terrível.

Bonjour Je suis vraiment passer en coup de vent à cet Hotel. Le cadre est plutôt sympa car beaucoup d'espace et les chambres ressemblent plus à des bungalows, sinon mon gros regret c'est que le wifi est très mauvais au niveau des chambres, en tout cas où j'étais situé. Il fallait que j'aille à la réception pour bien capté le wifi.

Het ontbijtbuffet had wat royaler gemogen, de kamer rook naar DDT maar de staf was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The Azalai Hotel is the best place to stay in Bissau, but don't expect high standards. It's on a large enclosed compound, so it's fairly quiet. The room was clean and spacious, but the lighting was poor. You should check the windows to make sure that they are latched. I realized that mine were actually unlocked the next morning. I don't think that the hotel has been taking many online reservations yet, because the reception seemed confused by the confirmation I presented them and could not seem to confirm they had received the payment. They did check me in and then finally confirmed receipt of the payment the following morning. I had an evening flight out, so they allowed a late check out at 4pm. Overall it was sufficient for a short stay in Bissau.
