Great host and great views!

Our host was very accommodating, helpful and responsive! Great views! We had 3 couples in our party and thought we would be fine with the 3 bedrooms, but the bunk room was really small and best suited for kids and not an adult couple with suitcases. The house is well maintained. We will stay again but with 2 couples next time.

Incredible property with a great host

This house is awesome. It's a fantastic combination of log cabin feel with clean, modern amenities. It's set up high on a hill overlooking the lakes and town, and the views are spectacular. Open floor plan with a very modern kitchen and comfortable living room/dining room, with huge windows that give you scenic views all day. Really clean and well appointed - all the appliances, etc. are very modern.The area in general is really quiet. There are a couple houses on either side, but there are trees between the properties that provide some screening, so it still feels very private.Jaci is a great host - she was very responsive to my questions before arrival, and the house has everything we needed - dishes, toiletries, even a stack of board games to play!My teenage son thought it was about the coolest place he's ever been, and wants to live there now. We had a perfect stay here and would love to come back someday!

Wonderful place

Great view of the lake and mountains beyond. Well equipped place for an extended stay while visiting the quiet part of Rocky Mountain NP. Perfect for eatly morning access for wildlife viewing, and a great place to relax after.

Great Thanksgiving stay

This house was perfect for our family of 5 over Thanksgiving. Plenty of space, well stocked with supplies. The pictures don’t do the view of the lake and the mountains justice. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We will be back.

An amazing week!

We booked this cabin for our honeymoon, and we were pleasantly surprised by the chocolate covered strawberries and candles the host set out for us. It was super thoughtful and made our stay special! The view here is incredible, and the house has all that you can think of for your stay. We traveled with our dog, so we cooked most of our meals and we had all we needed and more! The mountain market at the bottom of the hill has so much to offer as well! We saw a herd of elk every morning just 5 mins away just right in Rocky Mountain National Park. Amazing location and cabin!

Grand time in Grand Lake

My family and I enjoyed a birthday celebration in Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain NP. The cabin was comfortable, and my Grandson especially liked his hideaway in the loft. The property is dog-friendly and has a beautiful view. These things are always at the top of my list when choosing a property.

Great view and location

We were there for a wedding at grand lake lodge and loved that it was walkable to the venue. The view from the deck was lovely as others have talked about and everything else was as described. Loved being able to bring our dogs along for the adventure!

Beautiful views!!

Nice house. We were unhappy that the outside trash dumpster had not been emptied and then not secured well enough from wildlife. Trash was strewn twice in three days all over the driveway by a bear(?) We contacted the host but ended up picking it up ourselves both times so as not to attract more problems.

A Perfect Spot For Family Reunion

This is an amazing property that accommodated our multi-generational family very well. We had everything we needed to cook together, play together, and watch movies together. The view is amazing, the quaint downtown is literally a couple of minutes away, and the lakes offered many activities for us. The house was clean and the host was very responsive to all of our needs!

The perfect place in Grand Lake

You will not be disappointed in any way if you stay at this beautiful home. All of the amenities you have at home. The home was clean and included many fun things for younger kids, if you have them. Communication with the host was easy and very responsive. The location was fabulous, close to town and the view of Grand Lake was absolutely stunning. My husband told me when we checked out that the next time we come to Grand Lake, he wanted to stay at this home. Definitely recommend!!

Beautiful View

The house was well situated with stunning lake views. It had everything we needed and the kitchen pots/pans/tools were nice and well stocked. The kids had a great time and enjoyed being a very close drive to the park in town. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a standing shower in the master, but there is one on the main level of the house. We appreciated early check-in and the owner was very accommodating.

Friends bachelorette weekened

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is even better than we imagined. It’s absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing. We rented a car for the weekend and had no problem finding the house and there’s plenty of space to park. Jaci was very prompt to respond to any messages we sent. Overall was perfect for 6 adults. We would stay here again for sure.

Amazing and relaxing weekend

The cabin had a warm cozy feeling as soon as we walked in. The view of Grand Lake and the town from the deck was amazing! There was ample room for us to relax and have family time. And to top it off we were blessed with an overnight 3" snowfall! A great time and great memories! Thank you for sharing this amazing cabin!

Beautiful views - misleading listing

I mostly wanted to discuss the mention of a hot tub at this property -- there is NOT a hot tub and I think the host was intentionally misleading about that. We scoured the reviews before we stayed as we didn't see pictures of the hot tub, but the listing says that there is one. After we arrived, we asked the host and they responded quickly and said they were referring to the Jacuzzi tub in the main bathroom. Considering this was the only filter we used to stay at this house while searching listings, I would imagine others would do the same in their search. Since my friends and I did not intend to sit around in a bathtub together on our weekend away, we were pretty let down by this. Most of the home is pretty dated, which is interesting because the host is now trying to claim damages. We had a good time, the views were beautiful, town is lovely, but we would have stayed elsewhere had I known these facts. Unfortunately, this house seems to be a money grab by the owners at every turn, and I would advise you stay away.

A wonderful getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO! The kitchen was fully stocked by far more than most, the beds were so comfortable, and the amount of games was also a great touch! Close enough to town but sits back in the trees so there is an amazing unblocked view of Grand Lake! We had an issue and the host was so wonderful helping accommodate to make everything work out. She is super responsive and helpful, treated us like we had known her for years how kind and hospitable she is. We would definitely go back! Thank you!!

Grand Lake over the Holidays

What a spectacular view of the snow capped mountains from the couch that allowed me to curl up with the dog and read books and bring in the New Year all the while watching the incredible fireworks display over the lake. Cabin has all that you need and is well furnished and extremely comfortable and convenient to be both "away" from town but just a quick mile and you are downtown!
