Booked for a girls trip. Things were disappointing the moment we arrived. Front door had numerous areas of peeling paint, there was a funky odor, kitchen appliances did not appear clean. Living room tv wouldnât connect, internet kept dropping every 15 minutes or so. Tried to cook but no baking sheets or pot holders, smoke alarm went off while preheating oven. Sinks/tubs wouldnât drain. Master bed mattress was awful so we moved to the pullout couch, but there were no linens for it. Iâm all for shabby chic, but the scuffed walls and dirty cabinets made it just plain shabby.
That being said⊠the location was great, unit is closest to gate/road to beach access and also very close to the pool, which was lovely. The beach cart and beach chairs were convenient, although cart was missing a wheel and hard to navigate down the stairs. Would definitely stay on property again but cannot recommend this particular unit.
To be fair, we did not reach out to the management company regarding the above issues. With only two full days for our trip, we didnât feel it worthwhile to try and rectify anything during our stay - we just made do (with wash cloths for pot holders and iPads for tvs) but itâs disappointing, especially for the price. Will not return, will not recommend.
