Nice condo. Felt safe with the 2 security guards that you have to get by before accessing the parking lot. Beautiful views of the city and water!! The drive up the hill is winding and a bit dark but with all the new homes going in, that will def get better. Would def stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay in this penthouse condo. The views are stunning and the condo complex is clean with resort like amenities. We would stay again!
The communication from the property management company was absolutely terrible. On day seven of our eight-day stay, the battery in the front door lock died, locking us out of the unit. I had to explain to five different people that the batteries were deadâsomething that should have been obvious, considering the lock had worked perfectly the entire week until that point. It took nearly three hours for them to resolve the issue. My family and I were stuck outside the unit the entire time, sitting on the floor in the hallway with nowhere else to go. To make things worse, I had to meet the locksmith in the courtyard and guide him in because he was unfamiliar with the complex. This whole situation was frustrating, avoidable, and handled with a complete lack of urgency or professionalism. I would not book with this property management company again.
Host responded very well, and promptly. Study the map ahead of time as when we arrived GPS took us up the back way to the building. It was dark and we ended up on roads that were not finished and almost drove over a cliff. The view is spectacular. This is an end unit so to the left is a giant area that the city will probably start to build on. The unit itself was sparsely furnished with ammenities. It is a two bed two bath and each bathroom only had two body towels, one hand towel and one washclosth. One roll of toilet paper each bathroom. Kitchen had zero towels so we had to use up the paper towels. The washer/dryer needs servicing. No broom to sweep with. Bottom line don't expect a lot except for a great view.
I really do not think one could get a better view of La Paz, the bay and peninsula, and the mountains than this unit. We enjoyed the balcony and the views as much as possible. The complex was quiet, and two gates make you feel safe. There are shopping carts to help move luggage from your car to the 10th floor.
The unit is decently spacious, and everything worked. The payment and registration process takes some time on-line but follow the directions and all will go smoothly. The small downsides were lack of spoons, master bath door opens in and blocks the sink a bit, and poor weatherstripping on the entry door causes a dusty draft when windy. All of these are minor and would not keep us from staying there again.
Travelers note, exchange US dollars to pesos at Oxxo. They had the best rates, but you need to make a small purchase to get it. Remember, count your pesos in front of the person doing the exchanging and don't be surprised if you are initially short. Bring it to their attention and they will make you whole. Viva Mexico!!!
