Great location

Great location and walking distance to beach and restaurants in Avila. Having to pick up key in shell beach vs key pad took a little bit longer at check in and check out but staff was very nice and helpful, was just s bit hard to park at office location. The house is beautiful and clean and we mostly cooked there and BBQ’d and the patio areas are lovely.

Walk to the beach but feels like a compound

Great location to walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. The gates were tricky as only some opened for vehicle or pedestrian access. The ones that were previously locked were left ajar after we called the property manager. Some minor issues with the shower head not working, some lights not working and the rooftop deck patio furniture being full of cobwebs. The place was nice and updated throughout. No pantry items (salt and pepper only).

Check in was fine. Friendly. Pictures showed a working washer and dryer. Imperative when you don't have daily maid service for towels. I get her and a sign says, "wash machine not working." They absolutely knew at check in this was the case. They could've spike to me and said, "we have a problem..." With face to face interaction, the best way to come to a compromise. Instead I drive from Beach Bum to Avila, about 15 minutes to see the dryer. No calls this week. I called the answering service to see if towels could be sent, and no calls. No vacuums or dust pans in the home so sand (beach house) built up throughout the home. Very appalling customer service.

Great beach location

The property management company is in Pismo. But conveniently located by the great Cinnamon roll place in downtown Pismo. So pick up aome cinnamon rolls for breakfast and your keys at the same time when checking in. The property management company was very efficient and helpful. They called the following day to make sure we didn’t have any problems. The home was perfect for our family. We wanted to be close to the beach. The kitchen came in handy for breakfast and snack time for the kiddos. Beautiful kitchen setup with minimal supplies. If you have kids in tow, bring some kid friendly cups, bowls and utensils. The garage for for our SUV was just the right size. We did have to unload the roof rack stuff first before pulling all the way in, so be careful. The bathrooms had heated floors. It was a great surprise. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Location

This place was just what I was looking for. The location was perfect. It was in walking distance to everything in Avila. The garage was extremely small. We barely fit our pick up in it after taking off the hitch and backing it in. We walked everywhere so we didn’t take the truck out again until we left. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice and the view was beautiful from the roof top patio. The neighborhood was very quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and very clean home

Great location to enjoy Avila. Location of rooms provides privacy with one upstairs and one down. Two separate areas to BBQ. Check in was at Pismo, which added time to our arrival and departure. About 25 mins on both ends. Would be nice to have a lock box at the home instead of having to drive to the rental agencies office. Very fun experience in a clean and well kept property.

Great Get Away

Our family of six had a wonderful time in Avila Beach! The rental was clean, spacious, and comfy. The two outdoor decks were in constant use when we weren’t on the beach. Location couldn’t have been better~just steps Away from everything. We will definitely return!

Wonderful!!

Had a wonderful 3 day stay. We picked a great location and the apartment was just perfect. The only thing that was an issue was the bathrooms were inside each bedroom. Other than that, perfect place to stay and relax.

Beautiful beach home

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean with beach views from the roof top deck. It was so nice to have bagels and coffee in the morning up there. It is one block from the beach and all the restaurants and shops. The town is quite but does close down about 9 pm. I love all the hiking trails. We will be back.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful condo!

My family of 6 stayed at this lovely condo over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was beautiful, well-kept, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, as it’s one block away from all the downtown shops and restaurants. We will definitely return to Avila Beach and stay here again!

We really loved how beautiful the house was and the lay out. The sliding doors to the patio and the roof top deck were perfect! The location was unbeatable! However, there were no basics such as salt and pepper in the kitchen. Maybe people only go out for meals, but we like to cook on our vacations. This last comment is for the management company. A woman on the phone said the keys would be in the drop box a 2:30 PM. My husband and I waited there until 2:55 till a female employee showed up to drop off keys. In addition to myself, there were at least 5 other families waiting for keys. When I approached the female she was rude and didn’t like that I was bothering her while she was dropping off the keys. This 25 minute delay did mess up our timeline for a rehearsal dinner in Avila beach. If you say they are available at 2:30 make sure they are actually there.

Perfect Beach Home

Spent a beautiful weekend at the townhouse with my family. Lots of great memories lounging in the living spaces and entertaining in the outdoor patios. Perfect location to explore Avila's shops and restaurants, one block walk to the beach, two car garage, and easy drive to nearby attractions. Expect stairs but otherwise very clean, quiet at night, and detailed to the description. Thanks again BeachBum!

Cute condo and great location!

We rented this condo for a girls trip and it worked out great! The views were very nice and the place makes it really easy to head to the beach or walk around Avila. The inside of the condo was clean and modern and worked great for 6 people. Renters should know that the parking garage is extremely small and mid size or large vehicles will definitely not fit in the provided parking. Also, the company that rents this home requires you to pick up and drop off keys in Pismo beach which is a little inconvenient. Other than that I'd definitely recommend this place!

wonderful beach townhome!

The location is perfect - one block off of the beach in Avila. The home is very clean, amenities are as described - loved the double decks on the home and having a garage to park in is extremely convenient! Currently the home has a view of the water from the roof top deck and the main living area deck, but unfortunately there is a new building being constructed that will eventually eliminate the view of the water except for the horizon line. But that's beach living for you!

Enjoyable

Perfect location. Nice amenities. Beautiful views, really enjoyed the roof top sunsets. The negatives where the following: Sound reall travels, even from neighbors using their outside stairs at night. The heater fan rattled one night, very loudly. It's challenging to figure out how to set the heater. We never did figure it out. The BBQ at the kitchen level didn't work and made for a big inconvenience. Despite the negatives, I would recommend staying here. The property management were easy to work with and very pleasant.
