I booked this hotel for a night through Hotels.com as it was close to airport and I had a early morning flight to catch.
When I arrived, they couldn't find my booking. They said they have never heard of Hotels.com ! I showed them all the booking details but they kept on asking if i had paid for the booking. I showed them all the receipts on Hotels.com site. Then they asked me to call Hotel.com at. It was already 1 AM. Anyways, affer sometime i asked them to call the number shown on Hotels.com site for thisnhotel. They said its MD's number. I insisted to speak on this number and finally they agreed to let me in. However, there was another surprise waiting. They took me to another hotel called Tella Suite which was 8-9 mins walk away. There the guy also asked if i have a booking. I told him i have already speoken to this person at hotel Krone. Finally, he gave me room which was way below standard and unsafe. The bathroom was in a bad condition. The geyser wqs all eaten by rust and felt unsafe. The bedding and pillows were dirty. Overall, a horrible experience here. I am going to complain to hotels.com and ask them to remove this unsafe hotel from their site. Ease avoid this hotel at all cost. There are much better options available and cheaper than this.
