Attention to Detail, Accommodating and Awesome communication, oh my!

This property was adorable, had absolutely everything we needed and came with the added bonus of a gracious and accommodating host! I felt like I was staying with close family and has the best experience I have ever had at a VRBO or Airbnb. Anytime I had a question, there was a label. Missing anything, it was available in the most convenient place. I am so floored at the level of graciousness and attention to detail! Thank you so much to our host!!

Great stay loaded with the essentials

This was by far one of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at not only for such a convenient location but because the host had so many essentials fully stocked at the house. There was also a little goodie cupboard that you could buy treats from which the kids loved!

Everything you need!

Kim has thought of everything! The place is not big, but everything has a spot and it's really organized. She provides a list of things to do in the San Diego area. There were many toys for my 3 year old to play with. The tv's were easy to use which was nice! I have multiple chemical sensitivity so scents really bother me. This place was great. Kim washed everything without detergent for bedding, and used baking soda and vinegar for the rest of the cleaning. I didn't have any issues.

Amazing Home

The home was lovely and the host was amazing! She truly thought of Everything when it comes to your needs to make this a wonderful stay. Plenty of room to enjoy time with our family of 5. We enjoyed the patio and fortunately got it all to ourselves the night we went out there. I enjoyed watching the planes fly overhead too. The host has an entire book of suggestions on things to do around San Diego and we did several of them. She was very communicative if you needed anything at all. Clean up was very reasonable. We are so grateful we stayed at this property and would definitely stay again or at another one of her properties if we had less people. Overall fantastic experience!

Perfect little Chateau

Exquisitely decorated and wonderfully appointed cozy retreat. We had 4 in our group and it was a perfect size with everything we could have asked for. My only disappointment was that we didn’t book a longer stay. 10 out of 10 popcorn bags, would recommend! Wonderful place!

It has everything you need and more

Kim was prompt on her replies and very informative. The place it outstadnign. It has everythign you can think of, even over the counter cough medicine, sleep aid and such. Nice details all over the place, blow dryer (the nicer kind), ice already waiting for you, cooking seasonings and so much more. The hot tub is amazing!!!! Lots of towels. The rooms are phenomenal. The only thing is the parking is super tight, almost to an uncomfortable spot. Although Kim offers alternatives i think in the ally...Overall great place, if ever in SanDiego will definitely look to stay again.

Lovely stay in remodeled home

We had previously stayed in Kim’s property several years ago for a family vacation in San Diego and chose to do so again in 2025 (this time with four kids instead of three). We learned she had just remodeled the place, and the changes were great! We especially liked the king size bed in the front room. Best of all, even though the property was fully remodeled, she kept all the toys, books, and other touches that made the property so memorable for our children. Also, Kim is very communicative and helpful with any questions that arise during your stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Celebrating our Marine

We stayed here to attend our sons graduation at MCRD San Diego. We enjoyed down time at the home and it was close to base so made going back and forth easy. The home was clean and tidy. Kim did a great job with decor and amenities. We did have the opportunity to meet her and that was nice. We would stay again if in the area.

Well-stocked home base

This place had high-quality essentials and it was so clean upon check-in. It's a compact property in a dense neighborhood, but that means you're never far from anything you want to visit around San Diego! We rented a minivan, but knowing the bus was one block away was a good back-up option. We really appreciated the patio space, lots of toys/crafts for our 3 and 6 year old, and bountiful beach equipment. Even though the house is on the flight path from SAN, the good quality windows and AC make the sound blend into the background. Kim is very thoughtful and communicative in her preparation for guests. We'd definitely recommend to a friend.

Traveling with young kids is such a challenge but this property had everything you could need, or maybe forgot to bring. My family and i continued to be impressed by the detail put into this beautiful place! Kim is an experienced host and it shows. From a manual of the home to small reminders posted. Excellent place to stay

Kim had everything we needed and more for our stay at her VRBO property. Kim is super helpful if you are not familiar with the area. She gave us a wonderful list of ideas of nearby sites to see. My wife stated the place was so cutely decorated and the host thought of everything. We unfortunately had one of our party cancel and we had only 4 guests instead of the planned 5. There is easily plenty of room for 5-6 people in my opinion. There was 1 1/2 baths which was an improvement over most hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area in the future.

Girls trip for wedding dress shopping

Kim doesn’t great job communicating with you about your stay. Great location, close to a lot of fun things. The house really has everything you need & makes traveling easy. We had my older sisters & my granddaughter who is 16 mos. There were plenty of beds & THEY WERE ALL SO COMFORTABLE!! Home Away From Home

This property was amazing! The pictures of the place are very accurate but don’t give it justice. It is a home away from home in every way. It was very accommodating to our family and our children. Anything we could possibly need it was there, we enjoyed the amount of amenities that were there, even though we didn’t necessarily need them it was the thought and effort that we were blown away by. It was a top notch vacation home and would recommend to anyone! Stay here! You will not regret it!

Perfect Barnes Spot

Location for tennis tournament at Barnes was so close and just perfect! Also a great location for the airport, getting to beaches, Sea World and really a convenient area overall for us. Kim very considerate and helpful with questions. Thanks!
