Besuche den Audubon Zoo in New Orleans mit deinem im Voraus gebuchten Ticket. Genieße mehr als 50 Hektar innovativer natürlicher Lebensräume und mehr als 1.700 Tiere, die mehr als 350 Arten repräsentieren. Entscheide dich für eine kombinierte Option und genieße den Zugang zum Audubon Aquarium und/oder zum Audubon Schmetterlingsgarten und Insektarium.

Im Lebensraum der afrikanischen Löwen kannst du drei Weibchen und ein Männchen aus nächster Nähe beobachten und im Lebensraum der Sumatra-Orang-Utans kannst du die im Zoo geborenen Orang-Utan-Babys sehen. Entdecke den berühmten Monkey Hill mit seinem 5-stöckigen Baumhaus.

Der Jaguar-Dschungel entführt dich nach Mittelamerika, mit einer archäologischen Ausgrabungsstätte, Klammeraffen, Ozelots, einem Jaguar und dem Fledermaushaus “Criaturas de la Noche”.

Besuche die Louisiana-Sumpf-Ausstellung, den einzigen städtischen Sumpf der Welt, in dem Tiere aus Süd-Louisiana wie Schwarzbären, Rotluchse, Füchse und der weiße Alligator zu sehen sind. Interagiere mit Haustieren wie Schafen und Ziegen, während du auf der Watoto Farm etwas über nachhaltige landwirtschaftliche Praktiken lernst.
