« We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...

« Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable. »

« It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

« Such a perfect location between Smoke hole caverns and Seneca Rocks! Walking distance to the famous Triangle Rock! Very spacious house. We LOVED having coffee and conversation in the breezeway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable! We even got to meet our host, and he was most accommodating! Will stay here again! Book with confidence! »

« Beautiful location for a beautiful cabin to truly enjoy nature and its beauty. The kitchen was stocked well that we could make a wonderful breakfast before leaving in the morning and out doing our adventures. Also was lovely coming back there in the evenings after our adventures for the day and just relaxing by the fire pit enjoying a fire and all the wildlife! »

« Lovely cabin in a spectacular setting. Outside there are beautiful vistas all around, and the only sounds came from nature. A very special place. Hosts are attentive and very nice. Great hiking nearby. Highly recommended. »

« The house was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. I was running the Blackwater Canyon half marathon and it was so convenient to be able to walk to packet pick up and the start. We walked to Purple Fiddle, Tip Top and all of the shops of Thomas in just about 10 minutes. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the games were fun. »

« 12 stars!!! (Inside joke with the host.) The place was clean and spacious and the host was great. I brought my son here for his 29th birthday to hike the rocks. The cottage provided everything we needed including a spectacular view of Seneca Rocks. Centrally located to many areas of interest. I’ll definitely be back. »
