« Beautiful place to stay. It is really quiet and the property on the back is farm land. The staff is so very kind and they have a pool. So many things to do in and around the town. Will definitely stay again. »

« Love staying at The Vaquero, staff is wonderful and accommodating and the place is kept in impeccably clean condition. The beds are comfy and you have everything you need in the lil kitchen and bathroom. I will be back. »

« Beautiful, peaceful and friendly! Our cabin was rustic but clean and comfortable. Our trail ride leader was knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious- amazing blueberry pancakes! Whole stay was really enjoyable. »

« Fantastic property. Quiet, peaceful, clean, cozy, close to Bandera. Easy checkin/checkout. Dog friendly including pet bed and bowls. Host left snacks and drinks, extra toiletries, and local guides. Easy and fast communications with host. I highly recommend this property and would book again. »

« Beautiful property great location to explore and enjoy the hill country state natural area »

« This house is beautiful inside and out. Very private, we hardly even knew the neighbors were there. The beds and pullout couch were very comfortable. We watched about a half dozen deer in the back yard and even had a coyote cross the front yard about 10:30 one night. The river is beautiful, about a foot deep when we were there. I thought the complimentary pet kennel inside the unit was a nice touch. The place is very pet friendly. The host is very accommodating and eager to please. Next time we...

« Loved our stay for our 16th anniversary! Cute a-frame home with large windows that allows great natural light in. There is a hot tub on property but you have to fill, heat and drain it. We did not have time to use it. The outdoor patio was a great area to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and a nice glass of wine to watch the sunset. »
