« I have never stayed at a hotel with kinder staff. The people who work here are amazing. Can’t say enough good things about the restaurant or amenities and beach. Definitely take a bike out and ride around if you can.
My only complaint is the rooms are hit and miss—seems they renovated the room itself but not the bathrooms, and you can tell from peeling wallpaper, rusted faucets, etc.

« The beach view from the third floor was good. Any lower would not be very good. Handicapped access to the beach in front of the hotel was limited. There was a boardwalk over the dunes to the beach, but it was 15 steps down to the beach at the end of the boardwalk. »

« If you are looking to stay on St. Simon's Island do not book your stay at Epworth by The Sea. The staff was not friendly or accommodating at all. When we arrived to the property. We were left in the dark about the properties'' amenities unless we asked. The iron in the room was broken, there are spider nests and cob webs all over the place inside and outside. My biggest complaint however, is that our first morning we left the "maid service please" signage outside on the door handle that was...
