Hotel udaigarh, trop mal entretenu

Saison des pluies, 13 Août, l'accueil était charmant mais la chambre ( en haut sur la terrasse, avec vue) sentait le moisi, n'avait pas d'eau chaude ni le soir ni le matin suivant ( pas de solution alternative prévue au chauffe-eau solaire, alors qu'il pleut 3 mois tous les ans en été) et surtout, pas de générateur donc panne totale d'électricité de 20 h 30 à 10 h le lendemain matin.... Cher pour du camping, malgré le sourire du personnel!

Breathtaking view of Mount Abu from this hotel

Hotel room was excellent, and very well maintained. Stay was extremely comfortable. However, the food offered by the hotel was exorbitantly pricey! They not only overcharged every dish, but dishonestly charged double the amount for half plates ordered in some meals. Their calculations for each meal was always way more than what the actual figures were, and they tax you at 12.5% unlike anywhere else in India! If you stay here, do not order food from their restaurant cause that is a rip off! Instead walk down to the market place, but if you must eat here, read your bill carefully and use your calculator before you pay. I had them redo my food bills several times, but now realize that I still ended up paying extra. Tipped the waiters well, and so expected them to be honest with the billing. Manager should oversee this and double check all food bills. Restaurant must have some control on the food taxes which are not legitimate.

Overall Impresion

One of the worse hotels I have stayed anywhere. Room, bed, shower facility, linen, food, internet connectivity and almost everything was bad. AVOIT IT. Expedia should de-list this hotel from its web-page.

Nice Hotel

A good hotel with good location and quite polite staff. Enjoyed the tailor - made service provided by the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Received mail stating that there will be bathtub, bathrobe and balcony, but no bathtub, no bathrobe and balcony was small and common and hot water from 7 to 11 am.

Nice hotel near to all sights

It was a nice stay in the hotel, clean rooms, good staff and above all near to all sights. Parking your car is bit difficult as it's on higher grounds, two stiffs to reach to hotel, but good staff who helps you out with that. TVs were not that good.

Dont ever book in this hotel :(

This is the worst hotel i had stayed in my entire stays in the hotels . The hotel is near to the main market walking distance . The Hotel needs a complete make over . The roof is dirty , the bed sheets were dirty . The pictures are misleading .

We had problems getting hot water in our room, the reason given to us by the staff was there was an air lock. The management should seriously look into these matters. Their cook prepares good food.

Visit for Physical Excercise

Overall a decent property. Accessible near the main market. However the property is on a small hill lock where you need to walk up and down for going to the hotel which is extremely tiring if you do not have a vehicle. So Keep this in mind before visiting this hotel.
