Cons: In town for an event. Arrived at property at 5pm, two hours after check-in. Had reserved a suite via Expedia. Upon arrival was told suite wasn’t ready, so I gladly waited for the desk and housekeeping to communicate the need and the fact that customer was in the lobby waiting. While waiting I also observed a similar situation with another guest, waiting on a double king, who had been waiting about an HOUR! They offered him a single double bed, he declined! Also during my wait I witnessed a guest with no reservations walk in, check into a double queen room and Go on his way. We were the only 3 guests! They were NOT busy. I waited another 15 min before being my room still wasn’t ready and “I’m sorry for your wait”. The staff was very kind! At that time I offered to downsize my reservation to a double bed room, I had an event to get to. I asked what the difference (decrease) in cost would be, I was told they couldn’t adjust the price due to 3rd party booking. Um, no ma’am - I’m NOT paying $200 for a $125 room!! I’ll wait! Miraculously we got into a double queen room at the double queen rate!
Pros: The staff was genuinely kind and apologetic, not sure where the ball got dropped on having the proper rooms ready in a timely manner.
The indoor heated pool was great, clean, warm and very enjoyable!
The breakfast was hot and plentiful. It’s still a hotel breakfast, so basic. Delicious otherwise.
Check-out process was seamless.
I would stay again.
