« This is one of the better Premier inn locations. Staff were available and it was reasonably clean. It was also quiet. »

« A nice stay. Pros : a quirky house not devoid of charm. It was nice to learn about the house history. Cons : access direct on the A1 is a bit difficult. Room (especially bathroom) and staircase access too cramped. Confusion about the breakfast hours. »

« A lovely stay in Alnwick in September 2026. We had a large room with a view of the castle. Breakfast was very good as were the evening meal options. Staff were all friendly, helpful and seemed very competent. »

« Good staff service. Room and bathroom very modern and clean, bed was comfortable and had a great sleep. Breakfast was good quality lovely fresh fruit. Great location and very friendly staff. »

« È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. La struttura, accogliente e calorosa, si trova a Warkworth, paese che consiglio molto come base nel Northumberland per la sua atmosfera unica e suggestiva. Si può scegliere un unico piatto cucinato ma vi assicuro che al Bertram's cucinano con cura. È un posto in cui...

« Close to thé Castle Alnwick »

« The bar & outside area was really good. Lovely beer garden. Staff were very friendly. We did not have breakfast but Dinner menu had a good selection of very tasty food. »

« If you stay in the cottage the water is powered by a tank and therefore the hot water runs out and i therefore had to have a cold shower!! »

« Très bel hôtel, avec un restaurant offrant un grand choix de mets, dirigé par un excellent chef (originalité et qualité des produits) Le personnel est très bien : une attention supplémentaire à Simona qui nous a gentiment recommandé des lieux de visite »

« Accueil sympathique. Etablissement agréable. Bon petit déjeuner. »

« Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon. H »
