Upon arrival, the hot water was not working, which was a major inconvenience, especially after a long day of travel. « This is the perfect spot for hosting a Bachelorette... if you don't plan on making a lot of noise. They have noise monitors on the property and threaten to fine you if you get too loud. The property was set up very well and it was very clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, there were ants in two of the restrooms. « Really the only major issue that we had was the musty smell from the place. I know they’re doing as much as they can with all the humidity.The place was a quaint and cute. The layout kind of made it a little odd, but overall, I guess it was the best that they could do with the space that they had.They kept up on maintenance on everything as far as like the paint and and stuff like that »

« I was really kind of disappointed in this rental. The unit looks dated, the paint was chipped/dirty/sloppy. The doors did not close properly, neither did drawers. The master bed needs a box spring. It is way to low to the floor and hard to get in and out of. The blinds were broken. The master bedroom had cheap curtains that covered a large sliding door and did not block hardly any light at night. « Although we were initially put off by the 1500 security deposit, we were glad we made the reservation. The home was centrally located to Galveston attractions from the Strand to the Seawall to cruise terminals. It was playfully decorated which we especially enjoyed. Although we did not cook, the kitchen appeared to be well equipped with a nice stock of coffee pods. The bathroom was spacious with both a walk-in shower and a comfy soaking tub. « Host was great. House was great. Great central location. Overall wonderful stay. Only negative thing is that when booking I thought the property was closer to the beach than it was. I would not consider it walking distance to the beach. »
