This property is a must for anyone traveling with family. I traveled with an 8 month old baby and they were very accommodating. They offered us transport to the hotel from napels/salerno, for a fee of course, and offered free bag service from the port/bus station to the hotel. At arrival, they offered us coffee and expedited check in since we had been travling for a few days. All they asked for was a pic of our passports and they took care of the rest - this is typical for hotels outside the US. Rooms were very clean and with plenty of pillows and towels. Waterfall shower and towel warmer - which we couldnt figure out how to use. The reception offered many options for dining/activities and was very responsive via whatsapp. Rooms were big and cosy considering the area and also very affordable. Location was 2 minutes from the port of Amalfi and overlooking the fountain - although the view was just a bit occluded due to a building in the way. If i ever get a chance to go back to amalfi, i would definitely stay here again.

La Bambagina was great! Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we checked in late. They only issue was we rented a car and had to pay extra for the parking spot. That was not a problem, but when they picked up the car, we had to have cash to pay them. Luckily, we had taken cash out. It would’ve been more convenient if they took a card and we knew exactly the price for the parking spot before we picked up our car. Other than that, I highly recommend this location!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at La Bambagina in Amalfi, Italy. The four-night stay was delightful, thanks to the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, Federica and Giovanna. They helped us with restaurants, museums, and beach club recommendations, provided a fascinating history of Amalfi, and even arranged transport for us. The room was clean, beautiful, and the modern bathroom with an excellent shower was a plus. La Bambagina is perfectly located within the town square, which makes it easy to experience all the local wonders. It truly felt like home away from home. We couldn't be happier with our stay, and wholeheartedly recommend La Bambagina for an enjoyable experience in Amalfi.

Awesome stay!!!
This was a girls trip with my daughter. We had excellent service without even arriving there yet! Federica reached out to us by whatsapp prior to our arrival. So helpful and kind. As soon as I arrived Federica and her associate came to meet us and helped us with our bags. Cars are not able to drop you off at the door. It’s in front of the plaza. We walked to the hotel and it was clean and beautiful. Our room #2 overlooked the plaza and the Duomo Di Amalfi. We selected to have the breakfast included. Very worth it. You sit looking at the pedestrians and the Duomo. Absolutely a GREAT experience and GREAT location. Customer service was 5 stars!!!

Great place to stay in a great location in Amalfi. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a great view out to the cathedral and the center of the town. There are many good restaurants, cafes, and shops within a minutes walking distance. The staff was great and our overall stay here was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!

La Bambagina is truly a quaint little spot in Amalfi. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was magical. The location is unbeatable. You are steps away from the city centre and beach. The room itself is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the view from the balcony facing the Duomo. The check-in procedure was phenomenal! We are truly grateful to have had Carmen provide us with a map, bus schedule, local recommendations which all in all, take them and go see those places as they are all amazing! All was very much appreciated. She went above and beyond and made our stay more memorable and special. Totally recommend this cute little spot as it will blow your mind. The sea view from the B&B is also extraordinary! Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service 💯

Nice hotel in the heart of Amalfi
Like most hotels in this area, a bit difficult to find even though it's off the main square & there are signs. Our host found us in the square and showed us to our room. Very nice room and very convenient to everything. Note, rooms face onto a quiet square, but there is no central hotel building. Breakfast is in a restaurant on the square.

La Bambagina was one of the places we stayed at the longest in our trip to Italy. If you're staying in Amalfi, it is perfectly placed. It overlooks the main square, but the entrance is outside of the main area, so that is much more secluded and quiet. The facility itself is small (by American standards) but has everything you need, and is quite clean and well set-up. The shower had great water pressure, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was kind enough to keep the fridge restocked with water every day during some very hot weather. Amalfi itself is my pick for the city to stay on the Amalfi coast. It's not as big and busy as Positano or Sorrento, while also being quite charming. And the water (from the fountains) is amazing. Highly recommended.

Excellent! We had a very nice trip to Amalfi because of this hotel. You cannot beat this location! It is literally in the middle of eateries, shopping, and bus/boat transportation. Eateries were open late hours until 2am and were steps away from your room. I love that the location immerses you in the thickness of the culture and creates such a special experience. Cleanliness was definitely appreciated as well because I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness lol. Overall, this was a wonderful B&B. Would definitely recommend for couples or groups of 2.

Loved the Bed and Breakfast location and size of room. It had everything I needed for myself and my 4 year old. Room was clean and it was very very close to the main square so it required minimal walking to the harbor. Staff was wonderful. Giovanna was extremely friendly and helpful to me and my child in getting around the area and helping me figure out trains back to Rome.

Pictures don’t do the hotel or the city justice! Rooms were updated and staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located close to the port and the central area of Amalfi. We did experience a few ants in our room, but our stay was so short that we didn’t bring it up to staff, and it’s not unusual given the location. We would stay here again!

Das Personal war von A bis Z extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich. Schöne saubere Zimmer. Es wird an alles gedacht. Wirklich super. Man muss sich einfach bewusst sein, dass das Fenster auf den Hauptplatz von Amalfi gerichtet ist. An und für sich super und schön. Bloß wird Amalfi täglich von Touristen überrennt. Den Lärmpegel, mit dem man in Amalfi rechnen muss, hat man dann auch im Zimmer. Aber dafür kann die unterkunft nichts und die ist nur zu empfehlen.

Had an overall great stay at La Bambagina. The room was clean and spacious with a very nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The location couldn’t be any more convenient as it’s right in the main square of Amalfi. The only difficulty we had was finding the place when we first arrived but the staff did their best to help us over the phone and then sent someone to find us. I would stay here again as the location was prime, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

What wasn’t there to like. A very nice updated bed and breakfast with a perfect view of the duomo. Only 4 rooms so it’s nice and intimate. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Helped with transportation and even printed a train schedule and left in it our room upon check in. We were leaving before breakfast so the night before some juice, water and pastries were left in the room to take with us. Would highly recommend and stay here again :)

My wife and I just finished visiting a couple locations across Southern Italy for our honeymoon, with Amalfi being our second stop and staying at La Bambagina. It's hard to put into words how amazing Amalfi is and our stay at this location was the cherry on top. It's a small boutique style stay which was opened recently and the room/bathroom had great style and incredibly clean. The room had everything we could have asked for and had an absolutely awesome view of the main town square from our mini-balcony. It was the perfect location as it took 30 seconds to walk around to the square and a minute to get to the beach. Service staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay - and had awesome recommendations for activities/restaurants (one of which we ended up going to multiple times over our 3 day stay - Donna Stella). Would highly recommend this option - was an awesome blend of privacy, awesome location, and beautiful nice new rooms. P.S. If you're driving your own car, be prepared for the drive/traffic along the Amalfi Coast - the hotel valet service picks up your vehicle at the roundabout fountain along the water - I'd highly suggest getting acquainted with the waterfront area via Google maps before arriving - can be hectic and confusing with all the traffic.

Adorable Amalfi
This place was definitely the best we stayed at during our 3 week, 7 stop tour of Italy in May 2019. While it doesn't overlook the Mediterranean the view of the Duomo and the plaza activity was great. Besides, we spent most of our time out and about overlooking the Med. The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. And the staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended! Also, Amalfi is easily accessible by ferry, bus or car (on the way back from Capri the ferry couldn't stop at Positano due to sea conditions so those folks had to find their own way home from Amalfi).

Stunning Accomodation
Absolutely amazing stay in this stunning accommodation! We arrived quite late in the evening, and the lady working there came down to the harbour to meet us from our transfer and brought us up to La Bambagina so that we found it easily. The room was really modern and absolutely spotless. It was so comfortable with a beautiful balcony that gave a view over the square and the beautiful Chapel. The next morning the lady working there kept our bags for us all day as we went and got the boat to Positano. They could not have been more helpful. Will definitely recommend to anyone that I know who goes to Amalfi!

An excellent location literally less than 5 minutes walk with bags from the bus or ferry! Right in the main Piazza del Duomo and rooms have a view of the square! Bed was excellent, probably he best of our entire two week stay in Italy!! Melissa gave us recommendations for local restaurants, and the food was absolutely the most authentic, fresh and delicious of our entire trip! We will be back someday! Highly recommended!!!

Right on the main square, the room offered a direct view of the amalfi church and perch from which to watch the world go by below. The staff could not have been more attentive, and the room was well appointed and exquisitely decorated. Two thumbs way up!
