Das Hotel kann vom Central Hauptbahnhof mithilfe der kostenlosen Fähre und etwa 10-15min zu Fuß erreicht werden. Es gibt nicht viel zu bemängeln, bis auf das in den Handtüchern und der Bettwäche rötliche Flecken waren - vermutlich halbausgewaschene Blutflecken.

Es ist ein ruhiges kleines Hotel und doch super schnell erreichbar zum Hauptbahnhof. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein Bäcker - dort kann man echt lecker frühstücken;) Die kleinen Zimmer sind sauber, nettes Personal und ich kann die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Die Unterkunft kann man insgesamt mit OK bewerten. Grosses Plus für die zentrale Lage. Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt, aber trotzdem alles sauber. Allerdings ist es auch relativ günstig, dennoch würde ich beim nächsten Mal eine andere Auskunft ausprobieren.

Positiv ist die Lage. Ein paar Minuten Fußweg zur kostenlosen Fähre. Diese bringt einen direkt zur Central Station. Der Herr vom Check in war sehr freundlich. Parken für 8,40/Tag für Holland recht günstig. Das war es aber auch schon mit dem Positiven. Das Hotel ist nicht sonderlich „sexy“. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock (Dachschrägen) war so groß wie ein Schuhkarton! Im Bad löst sich die Farbe von der Decke und das Wasser in der Dusche hält die Temperatur nicht. Von eiskalt bis brühend heiss in einer Einstellung! Ich würde nicht nochmal hier schlafen

The best thing about Hotel Isis is its location: 7 minutes' walk from the (4-min) ferry to Centrum, and 11 minutes' walk to the nearest Metro station. Next best is the neighbourhood= safe, mostly quiet, residential. Next best are the neighbours! There's a very good Turkish restaurant 30m away, an outstanding Indian/Nepalese restaurant 20m away, a fabulous bakery 15m away, and a little grocery store 10m away. The pool club next door sells cheap beer to go (you can reach out in your slippers!). We must also mention the very friendly and helpful staff, who have good coffee, a smile and a nice cat on the go at all hours. Ragab was delightful. However, you need to know.... * this is an old building: no elevator; steep (steep!) stairs; thin walls; no space; no luxuries at all. 3 stars in whose mind? Not ours: it's a good 2 star. * the pool hall next door was noisy just once (in a week) - no music, but much chatting until 2am. * most folks here are not as friendly as the owners. Expect abrupt - but with a smile reserved just for tourists! * the streets ain't clean (but sadly, that goes for most of the city). * cycles - and some cyclists - can kill you: look both ways. Twice. * sadly, the "pick up after you dog" rule seems to have missed Amsterdam - watch where you step. On the whole, we loved Amsterdam, but the city's beauty - only just - overcomes it's many unnecessary shortcomings.

It was an okay place, really no restaurants or coffee shops near by. The real concern was the stairs very steep and in a curve . Rooms were clean and service was fair. Would I stay there again ? Probably not .

Otel sessiz bir semtte, tüm gün gezip uyku için otele geç saatte döndük, otelin içinde yada cadde sokaklarda gürültü yada rahatsız edici bir ortam yoktu. Oda küçüktü ama temizdi, fotoğraflarda ki gibiydi. Resepsiyon görevlileri yardımseverdi. Otomobil kiralamıştık, otelin önünde otomata park ücreti ödeyerek aracı park edebildik. Fiyat uygun olunca güvenlik endişesi artıyor ama biz eşimle çok rahat ettik. Lüks aramıyorsanız tavsiye ederim

Staff were lovely, had a really nice stay, the only negatives are it is abit noisy and the hotel has a cat which just wonders around. Not great especially when your not a cat person. I personally feel that it shouldn’t allowed in the kitchen or near guest rooms. Everyday I opened the door and it’s outside.

Slitent, men grei pris og plassering.
Vi valgte hotellet som et kompromiss mellom pris og plassering. Gikk to forskjellige ferger hele tida over IJ og kort spasertur bort til fergeleiene. Imidlertid framstår hotellet som slitent. Dårlig ventilasjon på badet. Ingen heis. Trang og bratt trapp, sånn som er vanlig også i sentrum.

Needs renovation and improvements.
The spiral start is to danger to walk upstairs. There is no saop and lotion in the bathroom. The bed sheets feel like didn't change. No clothes rack to hang clothes. Everything was very under my expectations. Would not recommend friends or anyone.

Graag wil ik hotel Isis in Amsterdam beoordelen. Het Hotel krijgt van mij een: goed. Waarom krijgt dit hotel een goed: niet omdat alles perfect in orde is. Wij logeerden in kamer 45, daar wiebelde de wastafel, de kraan van de wastafel spoot water omhoog, natuurlijk kwam er ook water uit de kraan op de plek waar dat bedoeld was, ondanks dat de douchedeuren goed gesloten waren stroomde er water de badkamer in waardoor de vloer flink glad werd. Maar.......en daar gaat het naar mijn idee over als je uitlogeren bent: de bedden en kussens lagen uitstekend, verdienden een dikke 10, ze lagen meer dan prima met heerlijk schone slopen en lakens en fijne dekbedden. Ondanks dat het heel warm was, was de kamer snel afgekoeld door een fijn groot raam, wat open kon en een ventilator die uitstekend werkte. Tip: houd er rekening mee dat het hotel geen lift heeft, onze kamer was op de derde verdieping.

An affordable stay in a convenient location! The hotel is nothing fancy, but it does the trick. The room was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was no air conditioning or elevator, but it didn’t matter much to me since I was visiting in the fall and I travel light, but something for others to keep in mind. The location is something to boast about for sure. Away from the noise and hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, it’s a quick, free ferry ride across the river to central station. The ferry runs so often I never waited more than 2 minutes for one. Close to everything without the high prices you would pay otherwise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam on a budget.

My pillow smelled strongly of urine! They don’t have an air conditioner, but had a fan in our room. Our room was TINY! There was no place to open a suitcase. Since we were on the ground floor, we could hear every footstep on the wooden stairs. Owner was pleasant and helpful. Worse property we stayed at on this trip.

Nice clean hotel, the rooms are small and simple, staff is very nice and helpful. 5 minute walk to the ferry that takes 3-4 minutes to get you to the downtown area, the ferry comes every 8 minutes or so so you’ll never have to wait very long. Parking is plentiful and costs around 9 euros for 24 hours.

Staff went way above and beyond. There was no elevator, and we had a lot of luggage. We were aware of this in advance and ready to carry it up and down the stairs ourselves. But we checked in early, and the staff took everything upstairs once the room opened up. Similarly when we checked out, they suggested we leave the larger suitcases for them to take down. The down side: the rooms are small (but fine if all you want is a place to sleep and shower) and have no AC. Our first night, a Saturday, was unusually hot. We had to open the window, which meant a lot of noise from two nearby bars. We moved from the second floor to the third floor for the two remaining nights of our stay (the staff took our luggage up again!). There were no further noise issues; the weather had cooled off and the bars were closed.

Very nice people who work there. And there was a wonderful bakery three or four doors down. They have fresh, beautiful bread and nice and not expensive, spinach, pie kind of things and baklava, and a wonderful young man that runs the place. Free ferry close by to the central area of Amsterdam.
