We had a really great stay; such a beautiful home and very accommodating for our family. It was a comfortable space and worked well for our trip, and we made some wonderful memories here.A couple of things I would want other families to be aware of: we did have trouble with check-in, as the details weren’t sent until about 30 minutes after the scheduled check-in time, which made arrival a little stressful. We also had some issues with the gate access opening and closing during our stay, which made timing off when trying to leave for excursions and such trying to play with the gates making sure they close for security purposes. Additionally, the washer seemed to have mold, and unfortunately it caused our clothes to smell after washing. We tried to clean it out but it appears to need to be deep cleaned due to prior users not keeping door open after use to air out. We weren’t able to fix the issue during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely home and we truly enjoyed our time; just a few things that could be improved to make the experience even smoother for future guests. We will be back! Thank you for sharing the beautiful space.

Excellant ocean front property. Great location to be somewhat centrally located to enjoy all of Kauai while having the seclution and peacefullness of being away from the tourist resorts. The house was clean and filled with amenities. We enjoyed walks on the beach, listening to the ocean from back porch and amazing ocean views. Even though there is a public campground close by on the beach, thye were respectful and quiet during sleeping hours.

Check in was easy with no issues. The house itself is large and well appointed, but there are a few issues that we had with information about the area as well as the air conditioning in the upstairs master was not working, therefore needed repair. It took multiple phone calls to get it finally repaired on the third day. Communication could have been improved during this time to avoid me having to make calls daily. We saw information about the public beach at the property, but don't feel we were adequately informed that vehicles drive on the beach making it dangerous due to some of the actions of those driving. Also it should be noted that the neighbors have multiple dogs that do and will bark as well as visit you sitting outside, which for some wouldn't be a problem but one of our party was deathly afraid of dogs and this hampered her enjoyment of the beach view. I know this is out of the control of the owners of the hale, but again information about this would have helped in our decision making. While the home was mainly clean, there are areas where detail cleaning inside would be beneficial. We did feel that the price paid for our week-long stay made the issues encountered overall impact our enjoyment of the hale negatively.

Home was spotless and refined. Parrish was quick in response to two requests (New Grill, additional sheets) private front and back yards with 2 lanais, and deck. Roomy back lawn and short path throug bushes to the beach.Lots of buggy boards (12) and umbrellas (3)Kitchen had everything but olive oil. Big refrigerator freezer, and two refrigerator drawers. Exceptional!!!

The Anahola Beach Hale is beautiful! The house is exactly as described. Its oceanfront location is perfect for anyone looking to stay on their own private beach oasis. The property management concierge was very responsive and communicative. The beach toys and gear are located on the side of the house near the first floor master. Our toddler stumbled upon it on our last day. This wasn’t disclosed to us prior to arrival so unfortunately we found it too late and wasn’t able to use anything during our stay. The only cons (which are out of their control) is the public beach park close by which brings in an interesting crowd. It tends to be loud at night with people wandering very close to the house path from the beach. Made us a little nervous with small kids. Also, the bridge to get to an access road to the house is closed. Phone maps give you two directions to the address, which we weren’t made aware of ahead of time. Again, at no fault of the property management but I would recommend disclosing to future renters prior to arrival as a courtesy.

Our family really enjoyed our time in Kauai. The house was perfect for us. The kids were able to be on the beach in a couple of minutes to boogie board and play in the sand. The backyard is big enough to run and play So nice to be able to just walk out to the beach and not have to drive. There were 7 adults and 4 children in our party.

First class accommodation

The home is lovely - just as in the photos! The beach is an excellent attribute with plenty of space, soft sand and not crowded. The neighborhood is a little less inviting the home is set up to feel private and secluded. Our family of 9 truly appreciated the well-kept rooms, very useable kitchen with quality cookware and appliances, and wonderful views. I am sure everyone would be eager to stay there again. Mahalo!

Island Getaway

Neighborhood looks a little sketchy first coming in, but the property is beautiful, and you are walking distance to the beach. You do have to be careful with the locals driving pretty fast on the beach but thankfully we didn't have any issues. The backyard is spacious, and the kids loved running around and then walking over to the beach. The unfortunate part of our stay was the ac unit went out in the downstairs master bedroom mid stay. The bathrooms don't have very good ventilation so that made the bedroom feel that much hotter. That particular room housed my sister, her husband and 3 little ones under 6. We pulled out a couple of fans but we ended up having to put the kids in different rooms just so they were comfortable. The more unfortunate part of it was the lack of communication from the property management. The ac unit went out on Wednesday night, Kevin sent two men on Thursday afternoon, they were supposed to circle back within 40 minutes to check on things which they never did, and the ac unit still wasn't working, I reached out Friday afternoon and then Kevin said they had a call to an ac vendor and then I never heard from anyone after that. We checked out on Sunday, and I did ask for a credit which Parrish did end up giving me a small credit. I get being on an island and trying to find a vendor on short notice doesn't always happen. What I didn't appreciate was the lack of communication. I shouldn't have been the one reaching out every time to get answers.

A Perfect Spot for a Family Gathering

It would be hard to identify anything about this property and location that wasn’t ideal (except of course the chickens that roam everywhere on this island, but that has its own charm). This was a chance to spend a week with our three adult children (and a significant other) before they are overcome with jobs and families. The views and beach access are hard to match anywhere, the property perfectly maintained and well appointed, the rooms spacious and inviting, and the kitchen easy to use. It is in a quiet neighborhood yet has easy access to other parts of the island. The beach equipment and boogie boards will meet almost anyone’s desires. Check the snorkel gear before renting any. Even the barbecue was effortless to use. You won’t go wrong here.

The best family vacation!

We absolutely loved this place. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but once you get to the house everything is perfect. We were steps from the beach. Everything was clean and updated. The beach is definitively more for locals so there were a lot of cars that would drive by but it didn’t bother us. Every evening, the locals come out to fish and have gatherings on the beach. There are some homeless camps near by. This place isn’t like Hanalei, there are no tourists, no shops nearby or no food nearby which is what we wanted. Overall we would stay there again. We had a great family vacation.

Breathtaking

Hubby has not traveled for 3 years and this was a family vacation that did not disappoint. The location was beautiful, everything in the house was better than nice and access to our mostly private beach was awesome! Beds and amenities were perfect. Perfect Location!

Anahola Beach was literally just steps from the backyard of this beautiful home. It was well supplied with beach chairs and umbrellas, and was the perfect spot for a family gathering. The management company was responsive, but only when we communicated via text, not through the portal (which was the recommended method).
