The Space:

This fully remodeled studio at 525 W 3rd Avenue combines a modern, comfortable interior with one of the most convenient locations in the city. The open layout provides plenty of room to relax while still giving you a dedicated dining area, full kitchen and multiple sleeping options.



The studio sleeps up to 4 guests with a comfortable king bed and a pull-out sofa sleeper.



The full kitchen is equipped for everything from morning coffee to preparing meals during a longer stay, with a cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, dishes, utensils and Keurig coffee maker.



The living area includes a sofa, Smart TV and plenty of natural light from the large windows. A dining table for four provides a dedicated space for meals, working remotely or planning the next day's Alaska adventures.



The bathroom has also been completely updated and includes a tub/shower combination, fresh towels and essential toiletries.

The building has secure entry and an elevator, and this unit is conveniently located on the first floor.



Guests also have access to the building's coin-operated laundry facilities located on the first floor.



Parking is available for one vehicle as outlined in the parking section below.



The Neighborhood:

You're staying right in the heart of Downtown Anchorage, making this an excellent location for guests who want to explore the city without spending their entire trip in a car.



525 W 3rd Avenue is just a few blocks from restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, shopping, tours and many of Anchorage's major downtown attractions. The Anchorage Museum is roughly a 7-minute walk, Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall about a 4-minute walk, and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is approximately 0.6 miles away.



The Visit Anchorage Log Cabin Visitor Information Center is only a block away on 4th Avenue, and Anchorage Trolley Tours operates nearby. The Anchorage Museum is also within easy walking distance.



The Alaska Railroad Depot is nearby for guests continuing their Alaska adventure by train, while downtown's restaurants, bars, galleries, shops and entertainment are all easily accessible on foot. Downtown Anchorage itself is compact, with the railroad depot, breweries, Coastal Trail and other attractions clustered within a relatively small walkable area.



This is a true downtown/urban location, so guests should expect the normal activity, traffic, pedestrians and occasional city noise that come with staying in the center of Anchorage.



Getting Around:

One of the biggest advantages of this property is that you don't necessarily need a car to enjoy Downtown Anchorage.



Restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, shopping, visitor attractions and entertainment are all within walking distance.



For destinations outside downtown, Uber, Lyft and local taxi services are available throughout Anchorage. Guests planning to explore areas outside the Anchorage core, drive into the Chugach Mountains, or take day trips beyond the city will generally find a rental car more convenient.



Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is approximately a 10–15 minute drive, depending on traffic. The Alaska Railroad Depot is nearby, making the property particularly convenient for guests arriving or departing Anchorage by train. Existing location data places the airport at approximately 6.3 miles from the property.
