« I like the ease of check in and the valet service. I like the buffet breakfast and the hours extended to allow for late sleepers. I did not like hair ball and my bathroom that look like the floor had not been swept. I did not like lack of lighting in the area where the coffee was. « While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « The breakfast was above average for a hotel in this class with nice cheese omelets and sausage links each morning, in addition to other things that I didn't eat. The pool area needs some love. They do have a pool but the lighting there is very dim and dark and it feels "scary" for kids to swim there. It's like the backrooms. The room's beds were comfortable and clean. The room wasn't cleaned after the first night until I checked on that around 5pm. »

Un peu bruyant à cause des autres clients qui prennent le frais sur la coursive, et des ces portes de communication entre chambres. Petit-déjeuner lamentable dans une salle exiguë au possible. Best Western pourrait mieux faire. Une nuit OK, plus cela demande des efforts... »
