Security/safety issue

We stayed 3 nights, on the last night we had an intruder enter unit in evening. This was due to management giving the code for the key lock box to someone who arrived a day early and tried their door code and it didn't work so they called up & were given the code to the lock box for key access. No one is supposed to have that and they were able to enter the unit while our preteen child was alone. Huge safety risk and error on managements part, proper verification process was not done to confirm dates and information for arrival before giving out any information. This could have gone very badly as my child was very upset in tears and grabbed a knife from kitchen for protection. No one should have been able to enter, especially given information for entry they were not entitled to. Then the key was left on the lock box for a few hours for anyone to axcess, we had no idea until we returned and saw it. Would not stay here again due to safety being compromised.

Great location and wonderful pool area!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this rental. Pros: Amazing management communication! Clean rental. Comfortable king size bed. Terrific location. Clean, big, comfortable pool area with shade. Cons: The rental is tired. It could use new wall and baseboard paint. The sofa bed was not at all comfortable; the springs were easily felt. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The fridge was freezing and then would thaw and leave the top shelf rather full of water. The kitchen sink faucet was very loose where it attached to the counter. There is no bathroom counter space at all. If this was updated, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Beyond my expectations!

So much enjoyed the pool and proximity to beach. 5 minute walk to get to spend an amazing, relaxing 5 hours on a secluded part of the beach. 10 minutes the other direction another day for a lively long white sand chill in the sun. Cute and clean and had sufficient kitchen set up to do our own food sometimes. Nice neighbors too

wonderful location

My husband and I enjoyed the stay in unit 10. Everything was great, there was a smell in the room like old cigarette smell, when the humidity was high in the room.

The locations was great. Neither of our televisions worked for the entire stay. We did fill out a maintenance request but did not resolve the problem. Disappointed with communication.

Very impressed

Place was very clean, accurate to pictures on site. Very responsive to our call for broken A/C between property management & rental company. Very accommodating to having a visitor parking at condo for a few hours. Great location to few restaurants within walking distance. Beach is 5 blocks. Pine Ave is directly behind building and there is walkway way that cuts through the church parking lot to Pine Ave. 2 ice cream shops on Pine Ave too. Anna Maria Pier is at end street of also. Laundry was free. Becky, the Property Manager was very nice. Pool was great. Porch light in front and back DO shine in condo. I understand safety but wish were on a timer. We stayed for 2 weeks and overall it was a great place.

Perfect Location!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this location. It was a perfect location and met all our needs. The pool was nice and they had washer and dryers available to use. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Overall the place was great. The description was accurate and check-in process was easy. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children. The place was a bit small for 4 people but we were expecting that. We only stayed for 2 night so it wasn't a big deal. As mentioned in other reviews, the porch light is quite bright and there isnt blindes on the windows next to the door. We hung out pool towels to block the light. Location was great. You can walk to just about anything on the north side of the island.

Perfect location!

This condo is a great location! The pool has Mexico Resort vibes and was a hit with my 8 year old! The one complainant is the light outside the door is SO bright! I did message about this and they are in the process of changing these out as their solar powered and not controlled by a switch. You’re super close to the beach and can drive or walk straight down Spring and you’ll run into it, technically on either side! We’d stay again for sure, our small dog enjoyed her stay too!

Charming Cottage Close to the Bay

This was a great little complex full of charm. It reminded us of visits to the Florida Keys. The perks were the private outside dining space, and being just steps to the uncrowded pool and access to grills. The location was close to the bay and the pier. We loved having such a short walk to the water to enjoy watching para surfers, fishermen and the ocean life when the waters were calm. The cottage was as photographed and adequate for our needs as a family of three. But it was lacking in a few non-critical areas. The toilet paper holder on the bathroom wall was broken. The bedroom door did not close and the closet doors in the bedroom did not close. There was velcro on the floor in the main living area, where there was probably at one time a rug. There were no rugs inside or outside to wipe feet so we found that we tracked in some sand. The most frustrating issue was that the full length windows on either side of the front door were not covered and this room was being used for a sleeping space on the pullout sofa. The light outside the door stayed on all night and shined in since there were no window coverings. We could not figure out how to turn the light off. I emailed the contact we were given with our check in information and no one responded. There were hooks at the top of the window which led us to believe that at one time there may have been a shade on these windows. This would not have been an issue if it had only been two of us, but it made it difficult for our son to fall asleep in the space. Regarding the common area of the property, although we did see folks cleaning up the landscaping and working on the grills while we were there, the litter and trash was disappointing. Upon arrival, in the sheltered area near the grills, there was food packaging laying on the tables and the ground. Unfortunate that a renter had left it in that state. Upon arrival Wednesday around 4:30pm, the trash can at the pool was over flowing. It was stuffed with food packaging and bottles, although there was a sign which read "no food, beverages or glass in pool area." This trash can still had not been emptied when we left around 9:30 on Friday morning. I'd like to emphasize that the charm of this complex outweighed the negatives. But with just a little more TLC and attention to detail, it would truly have been a perfect place for a short getaway.
