We had a great stay at Magnolia Breeze!Listing exactly as described and we loved the location. Rental company called to make sure we had everything we needed which was so nice. Great deck space to have a crab boil from @topsailsteamer. Would definitely stay there again.

No access to the canal from their dock- The house is beautiful and clean but there are a few updates that would have made it 5 stars. There are many houses to choose from and we chose this one because it was on a canal with a dock and came with 2 kayaks. Upon arrival we discovered that the kayaks can't be used from their dock because there is no ladder to get in and out of the water. Even at high tide the dock was a few feet above the water. We called the management company who said they would install a ladder in the next few days but that never happened.In addition, there are a few updates that can make it the perfect stay. Kitchen and appliances are great and had most things we needed. If you are planning on cooking a lot of meals a few of the pot and pans were newer but most were a collection of old cast offs. There was not a single empty cabinet to store food so after going grocery shopping for the week all our food needed to be stored on the counters or kitchen table unfortunately.The patio/pool area are newly redone but completely uninviting with a collection of mismatched furniture and not a single table to put a drink down on. The deck is old, moldy and rotting (do not lean on the railing) and there was no umbrella for the deck table. Everything else was good or great. It’s a great location. 2 minute bike ride to a gorgeous beach and the Sandbar. We would only recommend this place if there was a way to enter the water from the canal dock.

I was worried about the location but it turned out to be great. Saw manatees in the canal which was a real treat for the Texans! Osprey nesting close by. Peaceful and serene yet close to shops, restaurants and The Beach. Would definitely stay at this oasis again.

A beautiful home to stay at. First walking in we can tell the home is kept very clean which is something my wife and I always 100% must have. There was a little bit of a loose toilet in the guest bath but other than this we enjoyed our stay here. The beaches and surrounding island sights is where we spent most time. I would stay here again. We thank you for offering such a great home for our family to spend time together on vacation.

Needs improvements

The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Every room was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The living room was inviting, and the nearby ice cream shop was a fun bonus. The swimming pool was a highlight, and we used it every day. Local restaurants were wonderful.However, one morning, a man entered the side of the house to clean the pool while we were swimming, forcing us to get out and leaving the pool unavailable for hours. The biggest downside was the insect problem. We encountered large insects like roaches, spiders, ants, and lizards daily, even in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom. A roach crawled on my leg during breakfast, and another on a child while brushing their teeth. This issue, which started as expected in Florida, became unbearable, and we had to kill roaches daily. We stored dry food and fruit in the fridge to avoid contamination.There was also a bad odor from the canal in the back garden. While the house is a 15-minute walk to a beach, it’s on the bay side, which isn’t suitable for swimming. The real Gulf beach is about a 20-minute walk away. The two bedrooms, aside from the primary suite, had no storage for clothes. The kitchen had most of what we needed, but some items were in poor condition, including rusted knives and plastic plates with burn marks. The shower curtain rod in the master bathroom kept falling off.Overall, while clean and spacious, the insect problem and distance from the beach were disappointing.

Great vacation

The house was clean and well stocked. Master was a good size with a nice en suite. Ceiling fan and floor fan in master. Came with beach towels, beach wagon, 4 beach chairs and 2 kayaks. We left some floats there, as well. Pool was awesome! Plenty of outdoor chairs and furniture. I recommend a golf cart rental. The entire island is accessible by golf cart and is the quickest. This house is located on the bay side and is less than a 1 minute walk. Bay side is rougher, Gulf Dr. side (other end of Magnolia Dr.). The dock…the dock is NOT ACCESSIBLE via the canal. During low tide there is an old dock that is blocking access. Really glad we didn’t bring our boat.

Great family vacation home!

We had a great time on AMI! The house was perfect for our family! We enjoyed hanging out in the pool in the late afternoon and literally only had a short walk to beaches on both the bay and Gulf sides of the island and all of the great shopping and restaurants. The homeowner had beach chairs and towels available for us to use every day, as well as kayaks. The management company checked in on us a couple of times before we arrived and right afterwards to make sure everything was in order. We loved it here and would recommend this location for other families looking for a 3 bedroom place to stay on AMI!

Beautiful Rental

Rented 4/1-4/3/2025Brought a 23ft boat. Was told by one person there might be debris in the canal, another person said there was a month ago and was almost certain the neighbors or coast guard cleaned it up..... there IS debris in water, looks like a broken dock. We were able to get our boat in but was hard to dock with the neighbors boat & the debris. Day of check in was told heater to pool was broken and wasn't getting fixed til Thurs... no big deal it was warm enoughHome is beautiful! Very clean and smells good. Great location! Steps from beach, food, ice cream, coffee. I would most definitely rent again. Loved it!

Great Location.

Th e property is in a great location. The pool was awesome. The place was clean and comfortable. The tvs need to be updated and the grill would not get hot enough to cook food but overall we had a great time and it is a great place to stay.

Beautiful stay

We stayed 2 nights here, a couple homes down from the beautiful beach and a block away from the city pier. Overall the stay was comfortable with one hiccup with the pool heater but they worked with us as much as they could. My husband and son did some fishing off the canal in the back. They had all basic amenities ready like towels and toilet trees, hand soap-dish pods. Bring some laundry pods if you expect to do laundry. All appliances were in working order in the kitchen. We would come again. Location is perfect-close to a good coffee shop and local restaurants(walking distance). Room for 4 cars in the front. It was able to accommodate our boat.

Great week of fun

We stayed for spring break, wanted to avoid the college spring break crowds and AMI provided just that. We loved the house, it was so great with everything we needed and more. Easy walk to everything and a short drive to even more beautiful beaches and restaurants. The house is clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and roomy. The washer and dryer are always a plus! Pool and yard were beautiful and private, dock was a bonus. We would 100% look forward to stay here again.

Just what we were looking for!

We were very happy with our one week stay for our first stay on AMI. The house was very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and steps away from the beach. Get up early to hunt for shells! Walk to AMI pier, restaurants and stores on Pine Ave. Management company is quick to respond. Pool was warm.
