« We came with our whole family for a family vacation. We definitely enjoyed our time there even with three toddlers. The property is well cleaned and taken care of. My toddler’s favorite things to do during our stay was saying hi to the pony every morning, swimming, and playing with the neighbor dogs outside. »

« We cane for the total eclipse and couldn’t have picked a better place. The community is friendly, the parks are fun and the house was the oerfect balance of old and new. The beds are comfortable and the firepit makes for great storytelling and s’mores. Highly recommend. »

« This property is perfect for anyone that desires a secluded getaway. The grounds are vast with amazing views and trails for the nature lover. The owner, Linda, is wonderful and responds quickly to texts. The dining table had a tray of snacks and candy that was enjoyed after long hikes. Also had K-cups for that much needed quick cup of Joe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my beloved golden doodle, he also gives The Loft of Arcadia 5 woofs!!! »

« The house is nice and cozy and clean. The furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensil and pans. LOTS of towels and toilet paper! The owners are very nice and accommodating. Ice and firewood are available for inexpensive cash purchase on property. Very easy access to the lake and marina. The only challenge was the WiFi. It worked ok for some streaming services, but less so for anything else. We had a lot of fun. Hope to see you again soon! »

« While we were in the middle of nowhere, it was still great. We kind of expect middle of no where when we visit family in Wappapello! The house was absolutely adorable and they had everything there for us! We booked it for Christmas, and the day after it was booked the owner called to ask if we wanted a Christmas tree and decorations. I was stunned and absolutely thrilled. We definitely weren’t expecting to have decorations but it was wonderful! We definitely want to go back on our next visit! »

« Property was in decent order and repair, although there were no trash bags or toilet paper. Inside the home was a little dirty but overall fairly clean. Internet is EXTEREMELY slow, mostly unusable. »

« We had a wonderful time. The house fit 6 of us comfortably. We enjoyed the play area upstairs for the kids as they loved playing the games. The kitchen had everything we needed in it for meals. We also made a meal and brought it to my sons using their storage containers. We loved having all of the things we would have at home. We will definitely book again. »

« We had a lovely time at the cabin! We stayed for the total eclipse and enjoyed a quiet private viewing in the woods! Our two little dogs were very happy at the property. The road leading down is a little bit rough, but that is the last 3 mile leg of the journey. You can hike up a nearby hill for cell reception if you need to connect, but the best part of this cabin was unplugging and relaxing. The short walk down the road leads to the large gravel riverbank. Fun for fossil hunting, skipping...
