« We booked this hotel for about $50 less than other hotels with similar review scores in the area. It’s a renovated super8 style hotel- very basic but our room was clean (even the corners of the bathroom), beds were comfortable and owner/operator at the front desk was friendly. The hotel hallways had a damp but not mildewy-smell, but the room was fine. Breakfast area had cereal and waffle machine. Would stay again for an overnight stop on a road trip. »

« Very unique hotel and was a good stay. Contactless check in was easy, just received a code for the main door and room. Hallways and rooms have tons of original character with exposed beams, floors, ceiling. Right next door to Outstate Brewing was a bonus! »

« We had such a GRREAT time!! Couldn't have been any better, kitchen very well stocked, beds were very comfortable and smelled so good, plenty of things to do, grandkids loved the kayaks, lily pad, paddle boat and game room. Can't say enough about how great this place was!! »

« Very beautiful setting with gorgeous sunsets- the house is very spacious. We enjoyed using the kitchen and gas grill, plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the meals. The campfire was so fun, great views and also great views looking at the campfire from the deck. Lots of memories made!!! »

« Brophy Reflections was a perfect location and space for a girls weekend for 6 women.Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space to gather. Having the second refrigerator in the lower level was a great bonus. The location is very convenient for getting into Alexandria and traveling around to some local attractions. The view of the lake is lovely and the sunsets were beautiful.As the organizer of the group, I really appreciated the ease of communication with the host....
