Good communication with the owners. Cabin style home with great hot tub and patio area. Tranquil setting. Not far from the town of Ashville. Light in the bedrooms isn't very strong and a few more mirrors could be added. Lovely and enjoyable stay!

Delightful stay
This is a great place to stay. It was clean and beautiful inside. The owners really put in extra effort to make sure everything we needed was available. The landscaping was above and beyond with a waterfall and a fish pond. Location to Asheville was really close.

Log cabin was clean & well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub & big front porch. Loft is filled with toys that are tempting to children,, but guest book says not to use them?? Location was good, beds were comfy. Rain let us indoors too much, but still - a very nice place to stay.

Great Property and Location
This home is close to everything but still feels like it is out of town. We enjoyed the nice extras with the fire pit and waterfall. We would definitely stay here again. The host was responsive and helpful.

Sisters Get Away
This was a wonderful cabin close to downtown Asheville. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was WONDERFUL! We stayed in the fall so the house was a comfortable temperature. It might get really warm in the summer and there weren’t any screens on the windows. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Nice enough place
The location is ideal, about 15 minutes from downtown but also secluded enough that you could believe you were way off in the mountains. The hosts are great. Stacey was super responsive. The property is good but flawed. The upstairs bed is tucked under an eave that makes sitting up a little dangerous. The hot tub pump hums at night, which takes you out of the tucked-in-the-mountains illusion. The main issue was the maintenance. There were spiderwebs on the light fixtures. Every fourth light bulb, inside and outside, was out. Pieces of trim fall off cabinets constantly. The towels were all mildewed when we arrived and so we were doing laundry before we unpacked. I keep looking at the cleaning fee on the receipt and feeling like I got suckered. But the washing machine worked well. The couches were comfortable. The waterfall was neat and bear cubs were playing in it when we arrived, which really made it feel like a getaway. There was juuust enough hot water for three dudes and the fire pit was nice. (Bring a LOT of your own wood, because it's pretty exposed to wind, and the stove-heater inside has been disabled.) I don't regret staying here at all, and I could see coming back, but I would look at other properties first.

Easily accessible to many activities. Kitchen well supplied. Fabulous hot tub in back to relax in after a day of walking. Front deck is perfect to sit down and have quiet time. Would stay there again.

Was close to all the activities we wanted to do. Visited Biltmore and also went Tubing. The home was exactly as described and had everything you could possibly need. The owners communicated everything well and was very responsive to any questions we may have had. I would highly recommend this home.

Beautiful spacious cabin in the woods near Asheville
The house was perfect for our needs with plenty of space and overall sense of coziness. Sitting in the hot tub and taking in the nature is a must. We were a short drive from Asheville and able to get to and from downtown easily. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would happily book again for a friends or family trip!

Wonderful Spot
It is truly a wonderful spot! We loved the house which was very clean. The outdoor spaces are amazing. Loved the decks, the waterfall, the hot tub, and fire pit. We felt very secluded but were very close to downtown Asheville. We hope to return!

Quiet oasis moments from heart of the city!
As first time visitors to Asheville, we were pleasantly surprised with the quiet escape we discovered staying at this property. The home was extremely clean and neat, but cozy and welcoming. The location is about a 10 minute drive from downtown. We rented a car, but also used Lyft & Uber - everything was super easy to navigate! The hot tub was the icing on the cake! The host was gracious and responsive. Could not have asked for a better VRBO experience!

We and another couple stayed in this beautiful log cabin for 3 nights last week. The location was absolutely perfect. It was quiet and secluded, but so close to the city, The Biltmore Estate, and events. And the Fall color from the front porch was unbeatable. The cabin was very well stocked and had every amenity you need for a cozy, comfy and enjoyable experience in Asheville. Thank you so much!!! We had a wonderful visit !!

You have the feel of being alone in the mountains...but you are minutes from Downtown Asheville.
The property is as you see it and has a warmth and homey feel to it. The property was supplied with more helpful products than I have ever seen in years. We loved our visit to Asheville and our stay here made it even better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rental.

Perfect for a Girls Weekend Getaway!
I had a fantastic time reconnecting with girlfriends. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved the deck views and the ample kitchen space. The hot tub was a huge bonus and the hosts were very helpful. Wonderful experience.

Wonderful home and homebase in Asheville!
Perfect for a Girls Getaway. Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfy beds with luxurious bedding. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, but it was pretty chilly, big rain storm one night, so we didn’t spend as much time out back at the firepit or in the huge hot tub as we had imagined. Leather sofas were very comfortable too. Lots of spices and condiments and every kind of cooking utensil/pots/pans. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Asheville. Book this home!

A perfect home base for a weekend in Asheville
Our group of 6 girlfriends had a wonderful stay at Stacey and Dan’s cabin. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable and peaceful. They thought of all the little details, like a variety of spices, fire starter cubes for the fire pit, and plentiful towels for both showers and the awesome hot tub. Stacey was very communicative, helpful, and accommodating. We loved eating breakfast on the spacious front and back patios and enjoying the calming sounds of the water feature at night. The cabin was also less than a 15 min drive to everything we wanted to do in different Asheville neighborhoods. A lot of guest cabins you see advertised are very far from town! The weather was unusually cold and snowy during our April stay, so we’ll have to come back to do great hikes and see the vistas. I would recommend that guests bring slippers, because the wood floors can be slick. Thanks again!

Wonderful property
We cannot be happier with both the property and the owners. They were incredibly responsive which is always helpful. They were also extremely flexible in the face of some weather challenges over the weekend. We are already discussing a return trip.

Family weekend in Asheville
Nice weekend in Asheville with the family. The house was a very short drive from the airport and very very close to Asheville. Also, only 7min away from a grocery store. Overall nice stay for somebody who needs to stay near the city. Wi-Fi was great, I had to work from home and I had no issues. Kitchen is nice, there are all the utensils you may need. Living room was pretty and comfy for 6 adults. I liked the backyard, we didn’t get to use the hot tub but it is big! And looked pretty awesome. We did make a fire outside and sat around it. Nice!

House and property are fantastic! Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the sound of the waterfall was very relaxing. Ubers to restaurants and breweries were readily available. Holiday decorations were also a nice touch😊

Sitting around the fire pit was such fun! Bring your own kitchen towels if you’re going to cook. House is very clean with a beautiful outdoor property. More blankets and softer towels would be an improvement.
