« This pub is one of our favourites! We stayed for a second time round on our way to Suffolk from Brittany. The food is superb, location and landscape stunning, accomodation clean and comfy. The staff is always smiling and friendly. What more can one possibly want? Hopefully, we'll be back! »

« Mon mari et moi avons passé un très agréable séjour à cet hôtel situé à quelques kilomètres de Douvres. Le personnel était particulièrement accueillant. Nous avons apprécié le restaurant où nous avons mangé de délicieux mets. La chambre (nommée Granby) était spacieuse, le lit confortable et la salle de bain complètement rénovée. « Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation.
