    Das AK1 ist ein großes, vielseitiges Apartment in einem Bauhaus im Stadtzentrum von Athen.

    Die Wohnung verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 4 Bäder. Schlafzimmer 1 hat ein Queen-Size-Doppelbett und befindet sich neben dem Wohnzimmer. Französisch Türen, trennen Sie dieses Schlafzimmer vom Wohnzimmer. Es gibt ein komplettes Badezimmer direkt neben dem Wohnzimmer.

    Schlafzimmer 2 und 3 haben Kingsize-Betten und ein eigenes Bad. Schlafzimmer 4 verfügt über ein Etagenbett und ein eigenes Bad.

    Das Apartment verfügt über einen Essbereich und eine Küchenzeile. Die Küchenzeile bietet einen Backofen, einen Geschirrspüler, zwei Kühlschränke und eine Kaffeemaschine.

    Das Apartment verfügt über einen Flachbild-TV im Wohnzimmer, eine Klimaanlage in allen Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer, WLAN, eine Waschmaschine und einen Wäscheständer.

    Es befindet sich im 4. Stock und ist mit dem Aufzug erreichbar. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Aufzug Platz für bis zu 2 Personen und 2 Gepäckstücke bietet. Es ist ein wunderschöner Aufzug von 1937.

The apartment was clean and roomy. I don't think we could have asked for a better host. He was there to meet us and answer questions we had. He was also quick to respond to email questions during our stay and helped with transportation. The area was great for picking up local transportation for city travel and restaurant. The kitchen was well equipped but could use a small microwave. The five of us enjoyed our stay. Thank you for our stay.

My family had a wonderful vacation visiting Athens and this charming apartment was perfect for us to make memories. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill, and the university. Makis, their recommended taxi to/from the airport was very entertaining and we enjoyed his stories. We were comfortable, safe, and had no issues whatsoever. 10/10

Absolutely amazing apartment, the most comfortable and accommodating property manager and just terrific value for your money. Loved every second in this place. The beds are comfortable, the towels soft and Jacob was always there to answer any questions.

Great spot. Side streets in neighborhood can be a little rough at night but the main street is fine and the home feels safe. Very comfortable. Would stay again.

Great place to stay!

Very nice apartment and conveniently located (5 mins away from Omonia station). Several stores and restaurants close by as well. Only downside is the noisy street outside, but that is to be expected for a city location.

Nice, quirky, older building in the city center.

Place was clean with wonderful charm. It is on a busy street. Lots of close restaurants and public transportation just a few blocks. Some homeless in the area but we not bothered by them at all.

Perfect for our needs at a great price

It was very pretty and colorful. The layout was very functional. The four bathrooms were very useful. Our travel plans went awry and they were very helpful getting us a ride from the airport at 2 A.M.

Lovely, charming apartment. Jacob was super helpful and accommodating. Somewhat noisy outside being on a busy street. Close to the metro. Hot water needs to be turned on 20 minutes prior to showering and gets much hotter than in the US which was my only concern as the kids nearly scalded themselves. Otherwise our stay was perfect and would definitely book there again.

Last minute stay.

My family and I were on a cruise and wanted to stay an extra few days in Athens. We booked this last minute and the property manager let us check in early. They met us at the house and went over everything with us. We all fell in love with the house. It was different from what we're use to in America, but it was charming and we couldn't stop looking at all the details. Definitely would stay again if I ever make it back to Greece.

Room for everyone

The host was wonderful and answered questions quickly and accurately. Wifi worked consistently and everyone had their own space. For a group of colleagues, this was perfect.The neighborhood has a lot of homeless and open drug use but no one bothered us as we walked to and from the Metro. May not be ideal for children.

Lovely, Convenient Apartment

The apartment is exactly as advertised - spacious, eclectic and close to restaurants, transportation, etc. We walked to most of the tourist destinations (Acropolis, etc) but the metro is 2-3 blocks away. Communication with Costas was easy and he was very helpful in setting up ground transportation from the airport. A lovely experience!

Fabulous apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, large apartment. It had 4 bedrooms (3 with large beds (at least queen sized) and one with bunk beds. All 4 had their own bathroom with shower. We were a few blocks from Omonia Plaza(?), where there were excellent bakeries, a metro station, and is located on Athina street, which connects to the Acropolis. We had an excellent stay, and enjoyed the recommendations of restaurants. Communication with the managers was great.

We found the property to be an excellent value, with the photos on the site matching the reality we encountered. The management staff was very professional, competent, and responsive. The building elevator could use some attention, but still worked. The neighborhood around the corner was a bit concerning, but nothing that could not be overcome, and nothing to do with the actual apartment itself.

Big roomy apartment

Giannis was a fantastic host! Gave a very informative talk on arrival, gave us late checkout upon departure and organised a taxi big enough for our mob on departure. The apartment was great. A luxury to have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Great showers and very comfortable beds. Kitchen was a bit awkward yet had everything one would need. The location was ‘interesting’, there were some dodgy happenings going on down the side street but since the apartment is on the main road, none of it really bothered us. It is only a couple of blocks walk to great bars, restaurants, shops etc. All in all we had a great stay here and would def recommend.

Early Christmas in Athens

We have stayed in this apartment twice now, both times in December when we come to visit friends for an early Christmas celebration. The neighborhood is a little run down and can be noisy (big city noise) when we're trying to sleep. Besides that, the apartment is everything it's advertised to be, and it's perfect for a week long visit. Having the 4 bathrooms saves a lot of time in the mornings when everybody is trying to get ready! Only a short walk to Omonia Square and access to all the activities Athens has to offer. In short, it's clean, comfortable and makes access to Athens affordable.

Convenient Central Athens Apartment

The apartment itself was just as expected and functional for our group of six adults. It was nice to each have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. We all packed light so it was great to have the washing machine as well. Lia scheduled transportation for us to and from the airport, and Jakob met us at the apartment to help us get settled. The apartment is conveniently located near Omonia Metro station so it was easy to get around Athens. We only walked along the main streets around the apartment as the smaller alleys were inhabited by the homeless. Thanks Lia, Jakob and team for a great stay in Athens!

Quirky large apartment in gritty area of Athens

Even though there are quite a few hotels nearby, the Athens govt has decided to let the stoned and emaciated druggies hang out on the side streets surrounding this building which gave everyone pause as we drove through the street to the apt. We however appreciated being close to the Metro but still walkable distance to all the tourist destinations of Athens. Inside (building has two locked doorways before foyer) was pretty old but safe...4 stifling hot flights of stairs (the elevator seems sketchy) we appreciated the very cool AC each time we returned to the apt. I loved the size-4 bedrooms with 4 baths so the price was right for nearness to attractions, cleanliness and size but having to take into account the sketchy nearby neighborhood. Would recommend for adults only and those comfortable with "big city" life. Very San Fran vibes if you've ever walked near some of their homeless encampments.

Unique stay with great communication!

We had a great stay at this property. We were a group of 6 adults and the four rooms were just the right amount of space for us. We had some complications and delays with our arrivals to Athens, and the management company was very flexible and helpful in welcoming all of us and getting us checked in. We also booked our taxis to and from the airport through the hosts, which was very convenient. As other reviews mention, the neighborhood is not the best. We strongly recommend walking only on the main roads until you get further into the city. But there were no security issues with the property-- we felt totally safe in the unit. The unit is very close to a convenient metro stop and about a 20 minute walk to popular sightseeing locations. There are some quirks with the electronics and water in the unit, but nothing that detracted from our stay. Definitely recommend staying here if you consider yourself city-smart.
