Das Zimmer war gut, auch die betten in ordnung.Das fruehstueck war sehr vielfältig mit frischem orangensaft, früechten, all irish breakfast etc.

Stadthotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral mit Parkmöglichkeit in einer Tiefgarage. Es hat uns allerdings eine angenehme Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit mit abgetrennter Bar in der Lobby gefehlt. Das, was hier angeboten wird, ist nichts für geruchsempfindliche Nasen. Hier wurde oft Fish and Chips gegessen und das hat man auch gerochen.

Intanto appare molto elegante all'entrata. È costituito da due plessi: la parte storica su due piani ed un grattacielo da undici piani. Un po' scomodo perché per raggiungere la stanza era necessario prendere due ascensori e attraversare una zona di collegamento tra le due strutture. Poi la stanza bella, con moquette al pavimento e bagno con vasca adibita a doccia, cosa che non sopporto.

We got a very ugly room, the service was also bad, we had a 2 2 family room and every day we got only 3 towels, and everything in the room was for 3 people, even though we reported this fact, nothing changed until the end of our stay. There is a lot of mold in the bathroom, holes, lamps falling off. Generally poor. For much less money you can get a better hotel.

A lovely last minute stay
Lovely hotel in a modern building adjoining shopping centre. Generous long tables at breakfast. Good TV setup with apps and casting available if you needed it. Plenty of nightlife and shops around. Be careful of lockers in leisure centre area as it forgot our code and locked us out. Someone else there at the time said regulars know which ones to avoid. Window in room howled in the wind as the handle is missing a part, but I fixed this for our stay with a piece of cardboard. Checkout manner a bit sharp compared to what we'd normally experience in other hotels when being a bit after the checkout time, but didn't let it spoil our experience. Free parking very welcome perk considering location.

We have stayed here before and always find the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel clean, dinner, shopping and parking are available onsite. A quick swim if you have the inclination. What more could you ask for!

Lovely stay . Have stayed here before and will stay here again . I have stayed in many hotels in Athlone but I just love coming back to here . It is very handy with close proximity to the pubs and restaurants. The spa is lovely . The bed really comfortable . Very friendly staff on the desk at check in and check out . Will be staying again

This is a fantastic Hotel, a true GEM right smack in the middle of Ireland - from check in (daytime front desk lady was AMAZING, so kind) - such a pleasure to walk into a hotel and feel welcomed. The room was outstanding and so well looked after. Breakfast the next morning was again - 10/10 - lovely surroundings and food was delicious with great variety. One final mention to the lovely lady who checked us in - January 10th @ 1:30ish, after a lot of driving it was such a nice welcome you gave to us... We really appreciated your kindness. I hope we see you again! Thank you, Sheraton, Athlone, for such a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel stay
Myself and my husband had a lovely break away at the Sheraton hotel. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and the bathroom is beautiful. There are a lot of amenities and the hotel is situated right in the centre of Athlone. Their breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. We will definitely be back, in fact we booked another stay with them before we left and cannot wait to return

Very nice
Lovely hotel with lovely helpful staff but the hotel in general was cold. The bath temperature was lukewarm at best and the jacuzzi in the pool area was also lukewarm. Not what you would expect from a Sheraton. Dinner in the restaurant was beautiful

Room was good. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. Food from the bar was terrible. Fish (and chips) was really dry. Gym facilities were old and not well maintained. Pool was fine but was the coldest hot tub I've ever experienced. It was warmer in the pool. Most of the electronic lockers also didn't work. I think I tried 10 before 1 worked. Saw others struggle too
