3.5 stars. Positives:The VRBO itself was in a great location. It was nice to have a fully-furnished apartment in downtown Atlanta. The owner was also very responsive and polite with all my questions.Neutrals:This was my first time booking a VRBO, and many of my frustrations stemmed from that experience. For a one night stay, I had to sign a lease, fill out check-in forms, and provide a photo of myself and my credit card. The owner explained this was to prevent credit card fraud, but it just felt like a lot to stay one night. I understand the owner might not be able to change these things, so I docked stars for the issues within the VRBO itself.Negatives:Unfortunately, this unit has a strong smell of weed smoke, which was not great for my asthma. I felt the effects the next day after we left. The interior could use some upgrades. Additionally, the armchair in the living room was broken. The bedding material made me and my other guests very hot at night. I also think it would've been nice to have the towels and such already out in the bathrooms. I also didn't understand why we needed to take out our own trash. Not like we had a lot anyway, but I feel like I'm paying for that service. If the owner addresses these issues, I think it could easily be a 4 or 5 star stay!
