This property has good features and the inside was clean at check-in. The listing is true to what's inside including number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The mattresses were all comfortable, sheets were in good condition and the rooms in the home were as pictured.However, there were some pretty large issues that were never rectified despite days of conversation with the host. The most notable is the fact that the pool had not been cleaned for several weeks before our arrival and there was cloudy water with algae on the bottom liner. After 48 hours, someone was finally sent to clean the pool. The liner was vacuumed and the pool tech threw in powdered chlorine to shock the pool and backwashed a couple of inches of water out of it. But the water was still cloudy upon departure. There was also a strong mildewy or old musty smell in parts of the house, including one of the bedrooms behind the washer and dryer. I sprayed strong air freshener but the smell kept coming back. Fortunately, we didn't need to use that bedroom but for anyone who needs that room the smell is quite overwhelming.In addition, a slight issue before check-in as I had to repeatedly ask for the code to the front door keypad. It took a few exchanges, but I received it a couple of hours before check-in.Lastly, the host has the a/c set up to go up to 79 or 80 degrees after a few hours of someone not passing by the thermostat. This resulted in the house getting exceptionally warm.Overall, fine but has issues.
