„This was a comfortable, roomy cottage. We used it as a home base for exploring the Isles of Harris and Lewis. The owners were friendly and very responsive. This is still one of the spots we rave about after our trip. There is a great little coffee/tea/shop just at the end of the drive with a friendly proprietor and even friendlier doggo. “

We had a great time done all the stone circle visits and went down to Harris beaches took 1 hour to get there well worth the visit .“

„It‘s a lovely house with an amazing quietness. You can hear some animals, the wind and only sometimes you hear something man made like a car or a ship. It’s extremely remote, therefore you can’t just go around the corner to buy some stuff or go to a restaurant, but we have been looking for exactly such a location, including the rough and beautiful landscapes and it was perfect for us. „The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures, it was airy, clean and spacious with lots of room for the whole group to get together but plenty of quieter space for some 'me time'. We already know the island and have lots of family there and Jan and Callum offered to come and extend our table if they were coming over, asked where we needed safety gates and provided top class toddler safe equipment. „First time on Harris and Lewis and really enjoyed the house. It has its quirks (first holiday home ever with an over abundance of storage!) but was spacious and spotless. Had to reset the heating on the first night due to no hot water (the island suffered a total blackout the night before and knocked it out) but the hostess replied immediately and the problem was solved in minutes which was a huge plus. Recommended for anyone visiting the area“

„This is a truly beautiful home in an incredible location. The home is so spacious and is well set up for a very comfortable stay. The setting--literally at the end of the road--offers peace and quiet along with incredible views, and it is fairly central for day trips to the island's sites.
