« The lodge was beautiful! Such a peaceful, quiet getaway. We saw so much wildlife, and thoroughly enjoyed being disconnected for a few days. The lodge has everything you need.... just make sure to bring the food you'll need for your stay. There are a few country stores within 15-30 minutes, but no grocery stores. My kids loved kayaking, fishing, making smores, and laying in the hammock. We made several say trips to Acadia, and also found some hiking trails nearby. We hope to return soon! »

« Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again! »

« It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well. »

« Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). »

« My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

« Kevin was great checked in on us several times! The cabin matched pictures to a T. It was super clean! Everything you needed was there! Located close to Acadia National Park!!! Close to get restaurants! Would recommend to anyone going to the Parks!!! »

« The house was very good for multi generation family gathering. Good size living room and very spacious dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I chose this property for the lake views and the hot tub, and it was perfect for that! It was a cool, rainy weekend but we had plenty of space inside to gather. »
