Hotel Bakersville

« The room was spotless, the bed. And the linens were so comfortable, it's just the restaurant was down because the hotel is being renovated, there was no noise. I would highly recommend »

« Amazing place to stay! »

« The staff were wonderful and very helpful. We had a small issue with a slow drain but management helped clear that up quickly. Great location, older property - could use some updating, but that said we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Carolina Inn for a nice stress free visit to Burnsville. 🤗 »

« Great setting and smooth check-in Parking is easy and the help yourself continental breakfast was sufficient to get the day going »

« Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes »

« The property, room, bedding hardware and sheets needed to be completely cleaned up for harm free to people stay in it. »

« You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel, but it served its purpose well for a quick overnight stop. The staff was great and let me check in early, plus they were kind enough to let me park my motorcycle under the front entrance canopy. The room was a generous size, though the decor and fixtures felt stuck in the '80s. The couch was pretty worn and stained, and the shower handle was loose (though the water pressure made up for it). My heater also blew cold air even set to 78°F, but...

« My wife and I stayed here for a week to volunteer at the Samaritan’s Purse rebuilding mission in the Burnsville area. The Inn was very enjoyable and is a wonderful old building. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and had a great shower, which we enjoyed after a long day of working on homes for families who were affected by Hurricane Helene. »

« We were greeted as though we were being welcomed into a community. Everyone we interacted with was really friendly, and the scenery was breathtaking. Our cabin was just perfect for falling asleep to the sounds of nature, with the creek passing just behind. Such a perfect relaxation spot. I highly recommend giving Slackpacker a try too. Fantastic breakfast for such a great price! »

« Due to the nature of the retreat… there was no face-to-face contact w the staff but they responded promptly to text or call. Our cottage at Mitchell 2 had an excellent view of Mt Mitchell east side. »

« Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. »

« Property is in a very beautiful area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was good size with balcony looking out over mountains. Dinner was good. Portions are large. »

« Budget hotel that is clean. I checked in at 10pm and left at 6AM. Perfect for what I needed because it was clean , safe and the front desk staff was very pleasant. »

« Just finished our third stay here. The place has yet to disappoint in any facet. »

« Très bien »
