Wonderful tasteful impeccably clean rooms and public spaces with a mostly very professional staff, the pleasure in this hotel is the thoughtful touches in each room. Having said this, while soundproofing of windows to outside streets (very busy and active at night) is pretty good, soundproofing to hallways and next door rooms is abysmal and it was not possible to get staff to implement some measure of sound control for totally out of control party rooms. This meant zero sleep in a beautiful room.

Good Hotel with Good location
The quality of hotel and location are very good. There was a slight leaking issue on our last night that came from the ceiling. If not for that, I would have rated it 5 stars.

The Merchant Baku organized a smooth airport pick-up which put us at ease at the start. At the reception, the personable Mr. Pervez made the usual processes effortless. The location of the hotel was great and our room was comfortable. The Dining area Supervisor, Mr. Nahid was an excellent host and took care of our choices while Mr. Akbar provided prompt service. Although our trip was short, we had a lovely holiday, all thanks to the hotel staff who made it possible. We look forward to our next trip to Baku!

Great hotel but disappointing service
I was looking forward to staying at the hotel and really wanted to score it high but the service was really disappointing. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location next to the old town and buzzy area of bars and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay there. The problem was that when i was trying to call the hotel, the call didn't go through, then when it did it said the call transfer failed and when I got to talk to reservations, the lady told me couldn't transfer the call as she had no such option and I needed to call again. With the 10th attempt, I gave up. We called room service three times on different occassions. Only once they brought what we asked for. The other two times no one bothered and when we called the reception to tell them that nothing had arrived and we were going to sleep they said they were sorry without any attempt to actually chase to deliver what we asked for. We also checked breakfast started at 7am, whereas the guy at the reception insisted it started at 7.30 and then told me to go the bar to check, I told him that he should go and confirm and not sending the guest to sort it out. The service was really disappointing. The only competent person was the bar manager who always greeted us with a smile and ensured we were ok. Long wait for a coffee at breakfast too. I would say, more smiling, more thinking about the guest would help. It's a great hotel as a building though. Very small gym.

Amazing Boutique Hotel!
Very beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Baku. Staff was friendly and professional, comfortable room, sparkling clean! Only small comment - it could be nice to improve the breakfast, bread and cake were dry and disappointing. All the rest was fresh and tasty.

فندق رائع بما تعني الكلمة
الفندق رائع وفي سنتر المدينة لو عدت لباكو لن اختار غيره النظافة ممتازة حجزت خمسة ايام بالفندق وموظف الاستقبال لم رفض ترقية الغرفة لغرفة ذات اطلالة جيدة رغم أني طلبته

بشكل عام كل شي كان جيد لكن الغرف في الطابق الثاني ليست جيده مثل غرف الطابق الثالث و ايضا تنظيف ارضيات الغرف ليست جيده كفاية. الموظفين خدومين و محترمين جدا. اصوات المطاعم مزعجه لغرف الطابق الثاني. السعر غالي جدا.

Central location with dining options, Hygiene procedure was a very high, friendly and cooperative staff, especially Mr. Mushfiq, I would strongly recommend this hotel. As per my travel experience, I would say Baku is underrated as a travel destination, and it's the best city to visit in the Caucasus region.

Прекрасный отель!
Отель находится в историческом центре. До старого города пара минут пешком, до набережной 5 минут. До центра ковров 15 минут. Основные дрстопримечательности в пешей доступности. Отель невероятно красивый, новый. Номер большой, комфортный, красивый (жили на 5 этаже), хорошая шумоизоляция, очень светлый. Персонал профессиональный, во всем была помощь. Завтраки 2-х видов на выбор. Качество размещения превзошло все ожидания!
