Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay! You are correct, the historic nature of our mansion doesn't allow us to have an elevator but we are always happy to help with luggage. I'm so sorry to hear that the mattress wasn't to your liking. I have alerted our manager and we are looking into that. Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We are disappointed to hear you have some concerns but are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall! Since we are a historic Mansion that has kept the original doors and uses physical keys instead of swipe keys, some of the locks are a little tricky. However, I can assure you every room does lock to keep your personal items safe. Unfortunately, since we are located on 45 acres of heavily wooded and garden property, we do run into the occasional bug and do our best to spray and maintain cleanliness. As for breakfast, I'm sure that was a miscommunication on our part. As long as you write "in room" on your menu before putting it back out, it should be brought to your room. Otherwise, we serve in the atrium or dining room. We hope you can overlook all of those minor issues and return another time for a lovely stay!
