We had one of the worst experiences ever with BBarcelona Central Boutique Apartments. Despite booking and paying for a 2-bedroom apartment, we were given only 1 bedroom for 4 people, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. The check-in process was a disaster — we never received the access code to enter the property, even after we landed in Barcelona.
The property was completely unresponsive to phone calls and chat messages. We were left stranded, unsure if we had a place to stay. It was only after Expedia intervened directly that we were able to get inside. Even then, they never addressed the issue of the missing second bedroom.
To make matters worse, they charged a hefty deposit, which they only partially refunded after I followed up days later. Without my inquiry, I doubt they would have returned anything.
There was no apology, no support, and no compensation offered for the false listing and the stress we endured.
I do not recommend this property to anyone. It's not worth the risk, especially when you're traveling with family and need reliability and communication. Expedia should reconsider hosting this listing.
