« Nature at its best..Saw so many kangaroos (mostly kids) playing near our cottage in the grapevines and enjoyed ravishing sunset from the property. Absolutely quiet and peaceful with almost no disturbance. Can’t expect any better. »

« We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future. »

« Great two night stay in a beautifully presented property close to Peter Lehman (we were there for A Day on the Green). The only minor drawback for us, which I didn't pick up on when reading the description was that the accommodation was a studio (kitchen, dining, living and bedroom all in one), and the kitchen was limited to microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster (any washing up was done in bathroom), but for a short stay this isn't a big issue at all. »

« Beautiful characteristic home with lots of charm Perfect position within walking distance of town. Everything we needed away from home. Dale was the perfect host. His recommendations of where to visit were great. Would highly recommend this,property »

« Very convenient location, walking distance to the town. The kitchen is well equipped for doing light meals. The bed is very comfortable and overall the unit is clean. Overall a satisfactory stay if you’re prepared to overlook a couple of issues. However, the freezer section of the fridge was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the unit, possibly cooking smells from the adjoining unit which had a door, also every noise from that unit could be heard.. »

« We have really enjoyed staying at your property. The amenities were wonderful, and matched our personal life style in that we do not often go out to breakfast. It is very comfortable and the outdoor spaces are quite nice. Thanks for a great visit to the Barossa! »

« Our stay was truly exceptional. We can't thank the hosts enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for. The hosts provided an array of thoughtful amenities that made our experience both comfortable and enjoyable.Each morning, we were treated to a fresh, delicious breakfast, with high-quality ingredients that set the perfect tone for the day. « Very clean renovated space with separate entrance. All facilities provided. Slight downside, the beautiful gum tree was dropping blossom all over the car, but Adel gave us hose to wash it off. »

« Despite our difficulty accessing the internet to be able to get into the apartment, once we had reconnected to the internet and followed instructions, we were delighted with the apartment. It was large enough, well laid out and very easy to access. And, having somewhere to park our vehicle, was great. The surrounds were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining out for our evening meal and breakfast. »
