Resort-Hotel
Das Harris Resort Waterfront ist ca. 30 Minuten von Nagoya Hill und Batam Centre entfernt. Es bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die ein Resorthotel bieten sollte. Der Pool ist sehr groß und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut. Es gibt verschiedene Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten im Hotel. Allerdings ist das Hotel eigentlich nur für diejenigen zu empfehlen, die ihre Zeit im Hotel verbringen möchten, oder nach einer Rundreise ein paar Tage relaxen wollen, da Waterfront City keine Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten und nur sehr wenige andere Restaurants bietet. Es ist zu beachten, dass das Preisniveau, dass in Indonesien sonst äusserst günstig ist, im Hotel nur weinig unter dem von Singapur liegt...

Sehr nettes, freundliches Personal
Für Kurzurlaub sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr ausgiebiges, ortsübliches Frühstück.Die Hotelanlage ist sehr grosszügig mit grosser Poolanlage. Hotellage ist nicht geeignetfür Ausflüge, jedoch fährt täglich zweimal ein Hotelbus zum Einkaufszenter (40 Min)

Stayed here for 4 nights. the good: staff were friendly and helpful, concierge and housekeeping were prompt to meet and address our needs. there are free shuttle services to nagoya hill and grand batam at fixed timings each day, also free shuttles to and from ferry terminal on demand. pool facilities were decent, breakfast spread was okay and restaurant food choices were diverse (though with a cost premium) the room for improvement: facilities could be better maintained and showed signs of wear and tear, cleanliness of sheets and towels with no stains, resort is quite secluded from anything other than waterfront terminal (which is quite dead)

My work stay!
Me & my Japanese counterpart were on a one day work trip to Batam Yard & we opted to stay at Harris ! We are extremely happy with the Ocean view room ,cleanliness & excellent breakfast spread!!! The reception gave us wonderful suggestions to try local seafood restaurant by the sea & also arranged taxi service with driver Willy who also was very kind & helpful .Am looking forward to come back for another holiday with my family .

Personally, I had an issue with my check in as the staff at the counter mishandled the situation but Monica and Dila stepped in immediately to rectify the situation. The ensured that the guest were not disappointed at all cost. Without them, the hotel will have a bad impression from customers.

Culinary Adventure of Disappointment & Spacious Rm
Our experience at the Harris Waterfront Hotel was a rollercoaster ride of disappointment and frustration. The culinary disasters began with a poorly made Margarita Pizza and continued with a disastrous breakfast scene the next day. The staff seemed clueless and unhelpful, leaving us to fend for ourselves. The rooms were spacious but took forever to be cleaned. In contrast, the Marriott Harbour Hotel proved to be a haven of delicious food and attentive service. If you value your taste buds, avoid dining at Harris Waterfront Hotel and head to the Grand Batam Mall instead.

Wedding Anniversary Trip
Resort style stay, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Natural and serene surrounding within a stone throw away from the inland coastal beach. Ample amenities and pools. Food varieties are ample and taste good. Staff members are youthful, friendly and helpful. Due to the 2 years of Covid 19 hiatus and only recent reopening of borders, expectation on the upkeep of facilities and amenities should be moderate.

Nice hotel
First time staying at Harris Waterfront and was pleasantly surprise that there is free shuttle pick up from the ferry terminal to the hotel and vice versa. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was glad that the additional bed was a full-size single bed setup.

A bad Experience
Both my boyfriend and I were sick after coming back as on the last day, 25 April, we both were unable to take more rest as the room above us seems like they were doing some renovation. Knocking sounds were produced consecutively, causing us not to be able to sleep. As a result, we both were exhausted and due to sleep leads to low immune system, which causes us both to be sick.

Regret taking the Cabana Room
Cabana room is a no no to anyone who's thinking of getting it. The toilet is open and the bathtub was dirty. The shower curtain smell musty and the room was dusty. We requested for a room change on the first day but was declined. On the second day before breakfast with the help of a staff Sri, we managed to change into the hotel room. Thank you Sri for your wondeful help! The staffs there overall they are accommodating and friendly. It's just the situation and room we we're first in that made us annoyed and frustrated. Will come back again but will not stay at cabana room

Hotel staff very friendly & good service. Good Hotel with young kids, peaceful location & huge swimming pool.. Bus shuttle must have few timing depart to/from nagoya rather than one timing. Room must have same standard because one of the wing tower look old and room need to improve.

Clean resort by the ferry terminal
Only about 5 mins drive from the ferry terminal, this clean and friendly resort is the place in Batam. Transport can be arranged to and fro the ferry terminal. Everyone in the resort was really kind and hospitable to us which made the trip perfect. Some free activities such as table tennis, beach vball, swimming, pool table for you to enjoy and others such as flying fox, archery, go kart and ATV can be done at a very good price. Room was clean though a bit old but has everything you need. Can't go for breakfast buffet beyond 930am or nothing much will be left but look out for Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch buffet which tastes good. Not much food options so a 3D2N will be just nice. Lots of fun for kids too.

Friendly staffs
BIG thanks to professional and hospitable Clara at the restaurant. Overall, staffs are friendly but some at the reception are a bit lost and some at the restaurant are unfriendly and seemed busy doing nothing. They charge for everything and activities on the beachside are pricey. Short Mini golf was a nice touch for kids but need a serious make over. Shuttle pick up was nice and only 5 min ride from hotel to Ferry Terminal

Everything was good except the location to shopping centres were 30 mins away. Taxi was about 330 000 Idr ( two way) to and from harbourbay seafood which was near to swissbel harbour hotel.

will not return.
90 min to check in to start. The room was not ready so we had lunch and after an hour the room is not ready. we got into the room and was charged for an upgrade and I can't see how this was an upgrade. the room was small and had ants on the ceiling. overall the quality of stuff was low like the food and hotel as a whole. I was unimpressed and will not return.

Nothing to do after 7pm
Overall it was a good stay but when its after 7pm theres not much things to do unless u grab a xab and go to town which is approx 30mins drive. Would recommend only to those with children for short getaway.

Awesome relaxed trip
Harris waterfront its abit far off the city centre, there is nothing nearby. Unless you just want it to be an extremely relaxed trip, then this will be a good place to stay. There is ants in the room, so if you were to buy sweet stuff, make sure keep it inside the fridge. Staff is very friendly and polite. Taxi uncle is good and nice uncle, bringing us around and charging us cheap as well. His name is Herman! Highly recommend him :)
