Best location on the mountain! This 2nd floor end unit offers direct ski in/out access to Hummingbird from the ski locker area in the Parkade, and is only a 3-min walk to the village. The close proximity to the Village made it incredibly easy to get our rentals and return them and we loved that we didn’t have to drive to the Village and look for parking. It was such a short walk that we also walked over to catch the gondola to go down to Happy Valley when we would have driven from other VRBOs we’ve stayed at before. The kitchen is a little light on pots, pans, and cooking implements, but was just enough for our family of 3 to cook all our meals for 5 nights. The beds are some of the most comfortable we’ve had in a VRBO and we also enjoyed the couch. Due to the master bed having a headboard and footboard, and the other bed being in a bunk frame, my husband and son (6’-1” and 6’-2”) found the beds to be a tad bit “short” but that was their only (and very minor) complaint. The hot tub was amazing, the unit was very clean, and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay. It’s not a fancy place (barstools are very worn and the coffee table is one of those plastic ones from Costco) but we felt the convenience and value really could not be beat. We would definitely stay here again!
