Belford is proud of its strong community spirit with three friendly pubs, some bespoke shops and coffee shops, as well as a very handy supermarket. The Belford Museum hosts exhibitions and the local farm shop at the top of the village has lots of organic produce with a great choice of coffee and ales in the on-site café.

Nearby Budle Bay has thousands of waders on the tidal lagoon, a stunning sight looking over to the island. The local bus will take you to the popular coastal villages of Beadnell and Seahouses, with the working harbour and boat trips to the Farne Islands, and Bamburgh with the stunning cliff top castle and one of the most romantic and photographed beaches set behind the castle. Superb cottage, conveniently located for many attractions.
Superb cottage, conveniently located for many attractions. A tip - many businesses only deal in cash so ensure you have some with you.
