Welcome to Rivah, a beautiful little studio cabin tucked among the trees just outside Bethel, made for couples who want to unplug, reset, and relax. Guests call it "a wonderful weekend getaway" and say it's the perfect size for two, with everything you could need for a romantic weekend.



Spend the day skiing Sunday River (15 minutes away) or Mt. Abram (5 minutes), snowshoe the Bethel Village Trails, or browse Bethel's shops and breweries for holiday gifts. Then come home, turn on the fireplace, and sink into your private hot tub on a chilly winter evening.



Bring your dogs, your warmest sweater, and someone you love. We've thought of all the little details so your stay is stress-free.

Rivah is a warm, cozy 400 sq ft studio cabin inspired by Maine's rivers and lakes. It's simple and easy to settle into, especially after a cold day on the mountain. Guests tell us we've thought of all the little details.

Traveling With Friends?

Our sister cabin, Uptah, is just steps away. The two cabins are identical in size, layout and amenities, and each has its own private hot tub, fire pit, deck, bathroom and living space. Book both together for up to six guests: ski together, then recharge apart.



Good to Know Before You Book



• Primary guest must be 25 years or older and staying onsite for the duration of the reservation.



• A rental agreement, photo ID, and a $200 security hold are required after booking. The security hold is authorized two days before arrival and automatically released seven days after departure if no damage is reported. Please note we are on the exception list as we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits.



•Our sister cabin, Uptah, is just steps away on the same wooded property. Trees and a privacy divider help define each cabin’s private outdoor space, but this is not an isolated cabin with no neighbors in sight. We like to be transparent so you know exactly what to expect when you arrive—and can settle in, relax, and enjoy your stay.



• Rivah is a cozy ~400 sq ft studio, so the bedroom, living area, and kitchenette share one open space. It's perfect for two and comfortable for three, but please plan to pack light. There's a storage bench at the end of the bed, a storage stand in the bathroom, and wall hooks throughout for coats and gear. Tip from a past guest: unpack into the bench and hooks, then stash your empty suitcase in the car to free up space.



•Our cabin is on a private well, and water is a precious resource in the mountains. We kindly ask guests to help conserve water by turning off taps when not in use and keeping showers to a reasonable length. While the water is safe to drink, some guests prefer to bring bottled water or fill reusable bottles at a local natural spring just 5 minutes away.



• The kitchenette includes a compact mini-fridge (no freezer). If you're bringing extra groceries or frozen items, we recommend packing a cooler with ice for additional storage.



• A starter coffee and tea station is provided to help you ease into your Maine mornings.



• Outdoor amenities are available seasonally (May–October), including the picnic table, bistro table, and yard games.



• Cell service is generally strong. Wi-Fi is the best available for our rural location and works well for streaming and browsing, though it may not be ideal for frequent video calls.



• The driveway is steep and gravel. All-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is recommended year-round, especially during winter weather. The driveway is professionally plowed and sanded after each snowfall.



• To help everyone enjoy a peaceful stay, we do not allow parties, smoking or vaping inside the cabin, or unregistered guests.



• Dogs are welcome! We allow up to 2 dogs (2 years or older is preferred). A $50 pet fee per dog applies. We simply ask that dogs are house-trained, supervised, and respectful of the property so future guests—and their pups—can enjoy it too.
