„Amazingly relaxing. My in laws had a death in the family so it was just my husband I. Such a relaxing get away! I wish we had more time to spend and enjoy more of the riverfront from the gazebo. Decorations were so homey. Instructions were on spot. If we are ever planning on coming this way I will definitely rent here again!“

„You can tell the owners care for the house and want you to have a comfortable experience. It was clean and comfortable. Always felt safe in the neighborhood. Conveniently located. The light switch for the back bedroom is in the hall. It took us a while to find that one. The bathroom could use a remodel but overall the house was perfect for our weekend needs. “

„Our stay in Davenport was one for the books! From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. „The Mississippi Hideway was just as charming as its little town of Princeton Iowa. The host did not miss a detail with the added little amenities - from condiment packets to personal hygiene items. The house was clean, the decor was on brand and the beds were comfortable. We loved seeing the trains and the boats. We can't wait to visit again. “

„Check in and out are very easy. The kitchen doesn’t even have salt and pepper, so you do need to bring all ingredients if you are cooking. The location of the bathroom is odd it is down a hallway behind a door with an alarm. It feels like you are going into the private space of the other side of the duplex, but the host assured us it was exclusively ours. We were told at check in that we couldn’t use the deck because it might not be safe. Still for the price, we were satisfied. “
