« Turned up in Dharamshala, get to hotel, has not existed for 2 years. Clearly been sold and rebranded. Yet somehow Hotels.com managed to book us a room. Absolutely unbelievable. $25 Onecash credit compensation for 3 rooms, 3 adults had to rebook somewhere else at walk up rates and this is what Hotels.com thought was appropriate compensation. Comical incompetence. »

« Staff was not cooperative at all. I don't know why but they don't allow food to be served in room. We had our 1 year old baby and was asking if you can or we can take the dinner in room because outside it was very cold but strangely denied the request. Also, we were having breakfast in there restaurant before checkout and it 11AM, and they said you need to leave the room because next guest will come and we need to clean, we said please allow us 5 mins to finish the breakfast, our bags are...

« It's called the "Crown" for a reason, and it's because it's at the very top of the canyon, and a very steep and narrow road to and from Mcleod Ganj, or anything, really. Have a car, be prepared to hire cabs, or just stay at the hotel and enjoy the views. Which, to be fair, are very nice. Out of 7 hotels in 7 cities in India in terms of service, the Luxe easily ranked last.
