We had such a great time! Clean, beautiful, and well-stocked with kitchen tools for all your cooking needs. Plenty of space to relax and socialize for adults and kids. The loft is a little smaller/narrower than I thought it would be, so I recommend that area only for older kids and adults. Younger kids will delight in running around and exploring the premises. My 3 year old especially loved finding and hanging out in the "hidey hole" pretend campfire play area! I especially loved the huge windows and all the sunlight in the primary bedroom and living room (no curtains in either area, fyi). If there are people in your party who do not enjoy that, there is plenty of room downstairs to avoid the light with curtains across all the windows. The separate rec room in the back is huge and has foosball, shuffleboard, billiards, and a tv and couch.
My one criticism is that we had a power outage one evening near the end of our stay (common for Big Bear, not a fault of the property) and the property manager was not as available in the evening to respond quickly to our questions about the breakers. We had a couple of lights and appliances that needed resetting after the power was restored, and the property manager who was messaging us in the app gave us the wrong location for the breakers at first. My cell service was spotty and I gave up trying to locate it/message back since it was late. That's why I gave 4 stars for communication, but overall it was pretty great. I would stay again!
