I do not typically leave negative reviews; however, I do think I need to be honest about our experience. Not such a retro-vibe, more like worn and in need of an update vibe.Carpets are in need of a professional deep clean.The kitchen floor was not very clean. When wearing white socks, the bottoms became dirty pretty fast.Lighting is poor over the dining room table in the evening due to no dedicated lights in the room.In the main living room - cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling. We actually dispatched a number of spiders and a number of ants on each level.A bedroom window in the basement was pushed open, perhaps by the previous renter, but could not be closed due to a broken hand crank. I had to wade through 3 feet of snow to push the window closed from the outside so it could be latched from the inside. I notified the property manager, and they responded quickly but could not repair it that day. Floor tiles near the door in the master bathroom on the first, lower floor, were loose and grout would pop out.We were grateful to have a hot tubWe enjoyed the sauna each day after skiing. It is the first rental that we have stayed at that had one. Ski in /Ski out - You can ski down to the Thunder Wolf lift or walk 10 - 12 min. to the Bear Back poma lift. You have to ski Silver Knife - a Blue run to ski back.Even with what I mentioned, we had a good stay with family. We had an awesome time skiing with grandkids!
