« The view from this cozy cabin was so beautiful. We could eat breakfast out on the covered deck even in the rain. Everything one needs in a kitchen was there, good cookware and cooktop. Cozy blankets helped on cool nights. Highly rrecommend. »

« This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

« My husband and I went to this cabin for a quick one night getaway. The cabin was cozy, clean and in a very beautiful secluded area. The owner of the home communicated extremely well and answered any questions or concerns that we had. Fortunately… We had no concerns at all. Had a wonderful time and would love to stay at this property again. »

« Beautiful home nestled in the mountains with fantastic views! Our family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children and dogs) spent the week here and it had plenty of room! Clean and well-maintained; one of a very few rentals where my husband hasn’t had to repair something during our stay. Communication with the host was a breeze. An unexpected plus was seeing two July 4 fireworks shows in the valley below from the huge deck! We would stay here again »

« We love this place! We have stayed here twice now, once at The Roost and this time at the Shroom With A View, and each cabin offers something different but wonderful. We're already talking about which one to stay at next. If you're a birder, the Shroom cabin sits right on the edge of a clearing and I had a lot of great warblers giving me great views from the deck. We also had a chipmunk come to visit and saw a mama bear with 2 cubs on the drive up! Nature lovers will absolutely LOVE this place....

« Had a wonderful time at the Fiddle Creek cabin! The hosts are terrific, and everything in the cabin is just what I needed; excellent space with nice appointments including the artwork, furnishings and core kitchen equipment. The back porch is a real delight. If you are looking for a little retreat embedded in nature, this is your spot. »

« I always love western NC, property was great. Could have been a bit cleaner but nothing major. Outdoor games mostly not available unless you rented the whole home which we didn’t expect. »
