Family Weekend

Loved the cabin and the view. We had plenty of room for our family of seven, five adults and two children. Close to town so we were able to visit the shops. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing

This house was perfect for our family. Well equipped kitchen, perfect game room for kids and lovely views. It was so close to town yet felt very far away, quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Great cabin

My family of five and two dogs enjoyed our stay very much! This cabin is on a paved road and is easy to access. The owners were very quick to respond and was very helpful. We took advantage of all the wonderful amenities this cabin has to offer. This cabin is cozy and very nicely decorated. We would highly recommend this cabin for your stay.

Absolutely amazing

This home was perfect. Very spacious. Had everything you could possibly need. Plenty of cookware, utensils, kitchen items, towels. The dog bed and food/water bowls were a great touch too. There was a hot tub, grill, tons of games. We had a great time relaxing here, we didn't even leave, except to go for walks. It was incredible. 10/10.

Getaway with a view

Quiet, private, property overlooking the surrounding mountains and valley. This property has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Kids LOVED the lower level gaming area.

Do not stay here unless you want to get sick!

My family and I rented this cabin for the week of Thanksgiving. Similar to previous reviews it was not clean. I had to rewash the sheets upon arrival as they smelled as though they hadn’t been washed. The floors were dirty with dog hair and dust. When we first took the lid off the hot tub we noticed it wasn’t very clean and the water level was low. We tried to skim the top and added more water. I only went in it one time briefly and on our drive home from the cabin started not feeling well. I ended up getting sick, had to go to a physician and am being treated with antibiotics due to the water in the hot tub being not properly cared for or appropriately treated. I reached out to the property management company about the issue 5 days ago and VRBO and have yet to hear back from either. Do not waste your money staying here, there are many other beautiful properties in the area!

Unclean and No Reply

Our stay had the potential to be wonderful. Blue Ridge is a wonderful place with lots of activities, a vibrant downtown, and wonderful restaurants. The cabin itself has a great layout with great outdoor space on the porches and the three fireplaces are fantastic. However, as much I want to leave a good review for this property I cannot because of the property management and the lack of cleanliness of the cabin. When we arrived at the cabin around 8:30pm, we noticed the floors looked like they had not been cleaned, there were paw/hand prints on the inside of the doors leading out to the back deck, trash beside the main living room couch and other evidences that the house had not been cleaned properly. Being that it was late we thought, “no problem”, we found the broom and swept up the main living area fairly quick. We compiled a nice pile of dirt, trash, and what looked like a kid’s “sticky” toy. Then we relaxed until time for bed. As we prepared to go to bed, around 10:30 we found the sheets in the main level bedroom had not been changed or cleaned. This was evidenced by leaves and debris in the bed along with a soiled spot in the middle of the bed. At this point I sent a message along with a picture of the bed to the property host. While the booking description states, “You can relax knowing that our properties will always be ready for you and that we’ll answer the phone 24/7.” I did not receive a response until 8:00am the next day. At that time, the host offered to come to the house and change the sheets sometime during the day. By this point we had already washed the sheets, changed the sheets, and cleaned the floors. I said it was not necessary for her to come at this point and asked the property manager to consider refunding our cleaning fee instead. I heard nothing. Upon leaving the house I sent images of the state we found the house in to the property manager and again asked for our cleaning fee to be reimbursed. Again, I heard nothing. Evolve states in their description: “Evolve makes it easy to find and book properties you’ll never want to leave. You can relax knowing that our properties will always be ready for you and that we’ll answer the phone 24/7. Even better, if anything is off about your stay, we’ll make it right. You can count on our homes and our people to make you feel welcome--because we know what vacation means to you.” Unfortunately, we did not find this to be an accurate statement on our trip.

Great cabin!

The mountain view was the best part. We brought our dog for a stay in Blue Ridge and ended up exploring many of the northern Georgia towns and hiking spots. The cabin was in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. We would recommend a stay here!

Beautiful views

Very nice property. Never had Internet during our stay. It would help if there were instruction notes on operating TV, fireplaces, etc. We could not get master TV to work with the dish. Jessica with evolve got the family room TV to work but did not check the upstairs. This was a little disappointing. All in all, beautiful home.

Cabin was Filthy

When we arrived, the hot tub filthy, it had cloudy water and was cold. We drained it and the filter popped open. The filter was so dirty and moldy it’s obvious it hasn’t been cleaned or replaced in a very long time. We have pictures of the hot tub, the water and the filters. When we called Jessica she blamed the cleaning crew. All of the sheets were disgusting and dirty. We have pictures of all of them, including how dirty the water was when they were put in the washing machine. We had to work for hours to clean and wash and dry the sheets and blankets. We did not have anything to wash dishes with. No sponge or washcloth. There was only a very small amount of dish soap left in the bottle. Jessica gave us these things when she came the next day. Jessica came the next morning and blamed the cleaning crew, saying she was the property manager and they couldn’t find good help. She got the hot tub cleaned and working with a new filter. The spider webs on the outside of the cabin are incredible how many there are. It appears the outside hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The gas fireplace outside on the deck doesn’t work. Jessica told us the gas was shut off to it. It was one of the selling features of the cabin, and we had planned on using it in the morning. The amount of dog hair in the cabin was extraordinary. We have a dog, and yet it was too much to handle. We attempted to vacuum the carpet stairs to the lower level but the vacuum with the hose is broken and won’t turn on. The air conditioning in the cabin would not keep up. Either it is broken or it is not large enough for the cabin. It ran all day and never got below 80 degrees. On day 3 it is 82 degrees inside at 8:45pm. The high temperature today was 85 degrees outside. The cabin doesn’t reach the mid 70’s until 2 or 3am. I contacted Jessica and never even got a response. The drain in the ground floor bathroom tub didn't drain and the toilet seat was not fully attached to the toilet.
