« Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too! »

« Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay! »

« This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟 »

« First, the pros: clean room, comfortable bed, night light, a (sort of) free continental breakfast, coffee maker (single cup) worked fine, great water pressure in the shower, good ice machine, very easy walk to Arnold's Transit ferry to Mackinac Island. Now the cons: had to ask for hand soap; exposed (no shade or covering) light bulb was the main light source; no towel rack in bathroom, so had to get out of shower to grab towel; no clock; "breakfast" was grab-and-go -- no seating provided;...

« Ashley assisted us at check-in and was very helpful with suggestions for ferry ride to Mackinac Island and deal to leave our car parked at the Days Inn while we were on the island. The next morning Lisa assisted us in finalizing arrangements for ferry ride and leaving our car at the motel while we were on the Island. I give both of these gals an A+ Mary ellen »

« 1st...just trying to get the door opened..they give you the code but don't tell you about the other buttons that need to be pushed/used...2nd...you had to body slam yourself to get the door open. The carpet and floor are so warped the door wouldn't open or close without a body slam..the door wouldn't lock . The 4 batteries in the door fell out when you either open or closed the door..3rd..it was very damp in the room..4th..no hot/cold symbols on the water handles..it took awhile to figure out...
