Sehr schönes Hotel ideal zu allem, was man in Salem besichtigen kann, gelegen. Sehr freundlicher und effizienter Empfang. Negativpunkte: 1. die Zimmer werden nur auf Anforderung gemacht, aber das scheint in den USA nach der Pandemie üblich zu sein. Jedenfalls war das bereits das dritte Hotel, in dem ich diese Erfahrung gemacht habe. 2. beim auschecken konnte man mir keine ausgedruckte Rechnung geben, versprach aber, diese umgehend an meine mail Adresse zu senden. Dies geschah allerdings erst nach wiederholter Aufforderung.

Such a great location and walking distances to shops and the water and restaurants. Front desk was amazing and hotel was clean. The Regata pub well all I can say is their fish and chips were so so good. Really no complaints about anything.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of downtown Salem. Hotel staff were excellent upon check-in. Our room was lovely but could have used a better cleaning- however it didn’t make our break our experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Best area for tourist sightseeing. Located right in the center of Pickering wharf. Close to or within walking distance of all major well-known sightseeing Salem attractions. Close to the witch museums, the witch dungeons. Near the Salem willows the Salem Commons. Overall best area to have a hotel. Nice to have a new option other than just the clipper ship or the Hawthorne. This by far blows them both away and any other hotels in the surrounding cities. Has pretty much everything you need right in the hotel or within walking distance. Overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!

Fantastic property. Large rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores around Salem. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Will absolutely be staying here again and would highly recommend to others.

In the heart of historic Salem. Minutes from a number of sites. I would have given it 5 stars in all categories- Except that major renovations of the lobby and dining room made it a bit tricky to get in and out. And the only food option in the hotel was room service.

Natasha at registration was very efficient and welcoming. We are on a lengthy road trip staying at 4 and 5 star hotels, and our experience at the Water Front Hotel was just very enjoyable. The hotel and room were very clean. One issue was the drain in the bathroom didn’t work.

This was a great choice for us while in Salem. We walked almost everywhere from this central location and it was very close to the water. The hotel restaurant was closed but since there are some nice places to eat close by that wasn't a huge issue. They are clearly renovating because there were workers on site most days, though we were gone. The wifi was spotty, but again we were gone exploring. There are no refrigerators in the rooms so don't bring back your leftovers from dinner. Other than that minor issue we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in Salem. Recommended.

This Hotel was great. The only thing I would say is that the restaurant was being refurbished and so for the length of our stay, we had to order Room Service for breakfast (which we'd paid in advance at the time of booking). That's not really an issue in itself, and the breakfast was tasty. However, they still charged us the Room Service Charge, which is pretty bad form, considering we had no choice.

So very disappointed. Hotel was under construction; no restaurant, no gym, not any of the extras experienced at Halloween. Staff not friendly or helpful. Housekeeping basically only makes your bed. Not at the service or high quality experienced in the past. Will certainly try other places for next trip. TV had minimal services during the week. No streaming, no gaming, internet sketchy with phones. Over weekend TV was up to full capacity. Booked room with water view was told only King bedrooms get a water view. Vending machine was broke, tons of sodas were at the bottom blocking and one from obtaining their purchase. Very disturbing for a blind convention attendees unaware of where their purchase went. Reported to a Crystal who refunded our funds. She was consistently more professional & helpful than other staff. No directions provided at checkin no book left in the room for guidance on hotel policies. Lacked the friendliness I've come to expect at this hotel for the price you pay. Bragged to friends it was the best in all of Salem but truly disappointing. Hotel had about 3 months to warn us they would be under construction but failed to update us that service would be limited. Based on the lack of cheer the staff presented one can only assume they are unhappy and not treated well by employer. Curious if their are new owners. Was very bespoke in the past now just a typical Sheraton vibe.

House keeping left our door ajar and unattended for hours, room service orders were wrong, they forgot to give me the breakfast voucher, indoor pool was closed all weekend with no explanation or anticipated opening date, coffees not restocked in room, renovations on floor above us without informing us or posting on website, plus other things I could nit pick but I don’t have too. Over all, terrible and expensive stay considering no amenities were available.

The location is great. The day staff at the desk was great,as was the restaurant staff. The night staff at the desk, not so much. The heater in the room was nonfunctioning (it ran but you couldn't control the temperature, so it just blew cold air). We were also forced to park offsite, even though I have a handicap permit. Overall, we will not return and I cannot recommend.

The remodeled room was wonderful. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance, even though we had called to check it would be open before booking 2 days prior to our stay. Kids were happy just playing in the room.

Check your credit card
My credit card was charged for 2 extra nights instead of one. This staff charged me numerous times including an additional charge for $117 all for asking to stay one extra night.
